Wild Horse Racers Poem

The horses used in wild horse racing are from privately owned stock and are not a part of the Bureau of Land Management's wild horses.

Wild Horse Racing (WHR) can trace its roots to the beginning of professional rodeoing in the 1880's. It is one of the most exciting events at a rodeo as this action-packed-anything-can-happen event has several teams competing simultaneously in an opened arena. Only one other rodeo event is as dangerous as wild horse racing and that of course is bullriding. It takes a special breed of cowperson to have the courage and skill to compete against the unpredictable wild horse or bull which is why the old-west-cowboy essence still exists in these two events and is why the crowd's attention is glued to the center arena where the wild and unexpected thrills are taking place.

Thank you, U.S. Military for all that you do for us.
and
Thank you Denzel Washington and Sears for all that you do for our military.
