Can I sponsor a wreath for a particular fallen soldier?
This is the question we get asked the most. Our goal for Wreaths for Warriors Walk is to honor all of our fallen soldiers. If we were to have sponsorship of a particular soldiers tree, some soldiers may have multiple sponsors and wreaths and others maybe none. So our goal is to place only one wreath per tree at Warriors Walk. Please know that in your heart you have honored not only your particular fallen soldiers but all of our fallen heroes.
What is the deadline for sponsoring a wreath?
We accept donations and sponsorship of wreaths year round. Donations received after the ceremony date will be used for the following years event.
When will the event take place?
The 2008 event will take place on 13 December 2008 at 1200 noon. For event details, please check out the Events Page.
Where else will a wreath be placed?
We will also place a wreath at the Vietnam Memorial, the Desert Storm Memorial as well as Hinesville, Richmond Hill, Pembroke, Glennville and Savannah.
Where do we get the wreaths from?
We work with Wreaths Across America and purchase the wreaths directly from them. They transport the wreaths directly to the installation. In 2007, WAA used Perdue Transportation, a divison of the Perdue Company, to transport the wreaths directly to Ft. Stewart. Many thanks to the Perdue Company and especially Mark Dickison, the driver and a combat Vietnam Veteran.

What happens if you get sponsorship for more than the 400 or so wreaths needed for Warriors Walk? W4WW is a non-profit organization and no one on the board nor any of the volunteers receives a salary. Any funds in excess of those needed for the current year's ceremony will be used to help begin next years ceremony and to ensure that this continues to be an annual event.
