The Traveler,(part 1)
August '95-10/13
- I fought the winter's grip,
- only to succumb to summer's embrace.
- I am a part of spring, by birth,
- Yet I am suited, by nature, to the fall of night.
- I am a traveler, journeying in a lost land,
- looking for peace and a place to call my own,
- among the crowding people of every nation,
- I am a wonderer, looking for a place to call home.
- traveling, in a lost land, a lost mind,
- and forgotten memories. A wanderer of many
- realms, with little faith and less knowledge
- of times past, fogged present, and a hidden future.
- Ever Onward, A journey never ending
- to find a lost land, burned long ago
- The ashes taken by the wind, to spread
- its fame across the world's land.
- Walking across a land, seeing the familiarity
- of old times, yet many oddities and strangeness
- seem to leap out to remind of the land, and
- that it isn't where the journey began or ends.
- Come Traveler, traveling to a new home, lost
- in a distance, fleeing a forgotten past,
- haunting him in the dreams of the
- night, which he must travel upon
- another's land.
- Come, lose yourself, in my world,
- I am here to help you, I am part
- of your past you fled from. Yet I am not
- the reason you fled from your land.
- I took our vision, that land lost long ago,
- and rebuilt it with my image upon it, a land
- of true freedom, with many people
- A land deliciously corrupt in its own mind.
- Come, traveler, it is my vision that
- You once believed in, why not now.
- Why do you flee from the past that is
- ong gone from the time you once knew.
- This is not right. I must not let the past
- and its remembrances involve me in a world,
- not of my making, my friend, leave to me my misery
- it is the only way that I can forget the lie I once beheld.
- I am not the man that once lived in those times,
- a difference of perception and a reality, unfolded
- upon my mind has now taken me to a newer
- existence, and a travel to find this place I lost.
- I do not want to see your world, your land of corruption,
- it is to alike and to different from the land that I used to call home,
- and I need not know its name to know that it is flawed and broken.
- It is a land upon which rests the soul of the dead man, never taken nor wanted.
- Also, I was a protector of peace and justice back in the home
- I left, in its shattered state of burned ruin. And before the wars
- it was a shining land of freedom and safety, then dissension and greed
- caused the strife and wars among the houses that ruined my home and peace.
- I have no wish to involve myself in the wars of another land that I
- have no knowledge of, and even less understanding of. I am not the same
- man that I was and I do not remember all that I was, only that you and I were
- riends, not enemies, yet our goals were not the same and did not coincide with each
- other.
- My friend it saddens me to hear you speak of our friendship so,
- we may not have had the same ideas of justice but our ends were the same,
- the ending of the wars of the houses that eventually tore our home apart
- and lead us upon the paths that we now walk today.
- I cannot force you into my domain, however I wish to make you see your destiny
- upon the reality that we both travel upon. I can only give you words of advice that may
- help you in your quest of forgetfulness. One, there are others of us out here,
- their own worlds and times, rebuilding their own image upon a destroyed realm
- and some of them were and are not friendly to any of their past, especially one such as
- you were. Also if you forget everything else. remember the powers that you once had
- they will help you in your travels, your were the best of us, and had the most skill, even
- if there were several who were more powerful that you in might and arts.
- I cannot remember the power that I once possessed, I only know that
- it made me to confident of my own power and reckless in what should have
- never happened. My own folly helped in the destruction of my lost home and land
- and I vow that this will never happen again. I travel to find a settlement for my own,
- and to absolve the soul of the guilt held within, do not try to stop my pursuit. I will leave
- your land, in peace, so long as you do not pursue me, but remember that I still have some
- of the knowledge left and I will use it the fight against the greed and power seekers in these
- realms.
- My friend, I would not for the world, mine that is, dare to try to pursue for
- you seem to have forgotten many things, yet your mind knows more than you let
- on. You could bring destruction to the realm that I have created yet you chose to leave
- in peace, and in peace, mine that is, you shall. All I ask is that you do not disturb this world
- that I have labored to create so that I may rest in peace knowing my dream
- is fulfilled.
- I shall go and in going shall leave my mark upon your world, know this I am leaving
- wisdom and good to be found that will cleanse the greed and evil that you have imprinted
- upon your realm and in doing so shall corrupt your dream into something not evil but good! It
- shall be your burden to lighten the evil of the soul and in doing this you shall live free of the
- wrong that was done to us long ago. I bid you farewell, my friend.
- A flash of light and a pursuing darkness engulf the traveler as he invokes a
- ritual of old, that of traveling through the realms and time. A groan as a
- timeless young-old man wakes up upon a deserted beach with memories
- of a vast land of unyielding corruption.
Collection 3, #2
- Have you danced with the Devil
- on a cold moon Light?
- Set him at your doorsteps
- while you went inside
- to conversate with a whole
- new being about a totally different
- truth.
- Found out that the other side
- has known a reality that you have
- not found.
- Gone to your den to ruminate upon the
- lie that has been your life
- Mediate the dispute between the
- You and You in your yoyoing mind
- Found the middle point of the existence
- of yourself to press upon the days ahead
- Gone back to the devil to tell him of your discovery
- within yourself and that you can no longer dance
- The cold moon away into the sunrise of the new day.
- Look at the new day as It was a long time ago and to glimpse
- what it will be upon the future time tonight.
- Watch the day fly by as you race upon the course set to you
- and waited for all time long.
- Fought in a useless war to reveal the senselessness of your plight
- and that of others and to change the unchangeable in the sight of
- all eternity.
- Sought the peace that refuses to yield its
- secrets to the likes of the warrior pursuing it
- Grasped the truth that the peace brings
- upon its wings of time and fading as the
- days lose their touch upon the plane
- for the reality sakes of mind
- Sought entrance into the reality, glimpsed,
- lost and seen in the distance upon an island of
- hope and despair.
- Fought for the hope in the attempt
- to pass the way by despair and
- forego the pattern of not knowing.
- Longed for the knowledge of the times
- that are different in the chance to begin
- anew.
- Wanted the chance for a new time
- and beginning so that you can provide
- a way for the future to unfold.
- The unfolding of the future and the
- conjuration of the past into a unseen
- light at the end of time's pages.
- Flipped to the last pages of time
- to conjure the past into the present
- to try correcting the flaws of the forbears
- by bringing a new understanding in the annals
- of knowledge.
- Realized that with the new understanding
- a new begining was reached and a
- new era began in the life and times
- of truth and understanding.

- Far-walker
- Shadow Searcher
- Soul-giver
- Truth-teller and meaning gone together,
- A soul given across the distance,
- to another. each glimpsed bt the other,
- yet unseen and unheard, not touched,
- only felt by the other, and read by the
- eyes of a foreign being. A bonding and
- a revalation as time goes and something happens,
- no longer mere play, but passion for the other that
- can not be seen, many leagues separating eacg
- from the other. I am lost and floundering as the love
- increases and something happens, I do not know what
- do to, except continue to hope and gaze at a beloved's
- unseen eyes.
- Friend, lover, I call you, heed
- my unspoken desire, my High flung
- love, given in a moment to someone
- unknown but known, in the soul,
- and with only a glimpse back to
- recognize the temptation of what might have been
- to realize the depth of what it is.
- My life, my love, yours my beauty,
- I do not know you yet how can I love you?
- I know you, I gave my soul to you, it is yours,
- what am I to do, now? I am lost in this feeling
- and there is nothing that I know. I bared my soul
- and opened my heart to you, you are my love,
- my beloved forever and always, ever shall I be yours.
- I see the light and in it is your image, obscured by the
- brightness of who you are. I see the moon and in it is your
- beauty, that of the ethereal and luminescence of the night's
- light. I gaze upon the stars and see your eyes, and their brightness
- that are full of life. My image of you is so fulled with beauty that
- I can not see you, and I weep in the knowledge that someday I may see
- and know that I gave my life to one such as you.

- what needs to be done.
- I am here, freed, at last, to do what I should have done before. My champions, those who
- hold the best of my power have no match. They are the true rulers of this world and none
- shall come between them and my dominion of this world. I bestow upon them my powers
- and my knowledge, they go forth with my blessing and my pain!( -Klarom's prophecy)
