Big Show and Mark Henry return, Test, Raven and more!

Big Show/Mark Henry return in February, Test push news, Raven filming vignettes, More

Thanks to Evan Humphries for the following news:

The World Wrestling Federation had previously planned to utilize the returns of both The Big Show Paul Wight and Mark Henry from Ohio and incorporate them with Royal Rumble returns. These plans now appear to have been blown to the wind as it appears neither man is quite at the condition the WWF wants them to be in, meaning they will both remain down in the affiliate ranks of the WWF for a little while longer so that they can get into “ring worthy” condition by WWF standards. The current projection for both men’s respective WWF return looks to come under consideration again in late January, meaning that an early February return could be in line for both men.

Test will now be on the receiving end of an ample sized push from the WWF. Test is likely to be thrust into the singles division where he will become a major player on the intercontinental title circuit. Test wont be placed there with immediate effect, first the WWF plan for him to sever his ties with Albert and Trish, which could spill over in to a match on pay-per-view. Once he is effectively away from all his previous links with T&A he is most likely to be repackaged with a new gimmick, then he will be pushed in the singles division.

Raven will be filming some vignettes very soon. The vignettes plan to reveal more about Ravens alleged past, which is hoped will add more depth to his character within the federation, and it should get him more exposure. The vignettes are likely to be filmed in run down looking areas, like Tazzs were, to reflect the hardship of his childhood which these vignettes will depict. The vignettes should begin to air towards the end of the month on WWF television, Raven may however miss sometime from WWF TV while these are being filmed, although that is not confirmed.
