Not sure if I will attend
Have
been unable to attend any prior reunions for one reason or
another, but I hope to make it to the 30th. Really
appreciate the efforts of everyone to organize the reunion and
put together this website. My life for the last 30 years
can be neatly organized into three decade long chapters:
(1) from 1975 to 1985 I lived in Norman, OK where I
earned a degree in English, attended graduate school (without
earning any degrees), and held a variety of university and off
campus jobs. For example, I was assistant editor of a
scholarly journal for two years, and I worked as academic
advisor to the OU football team for two years; (2) in 1985 I
moved to Washington, DC to attend law school at George
Washington University. Graduated in 88, and began a
career in private practice at a couple of different firms; and
(3) in 1996 I got married (to Amy Maron -- a delightful person
-- who grew up in New Jersey and moved to DC after college to
work in the political/policy world). That same year I
co-founded a law firm. The marriage has been fruitful (we
have two healthy, happy boys -- Nathan is 5 and Sam is 3) and
exceedingly happy, and the law firm has grown a lot and done
reasonably well. Reading the comments by fellow
classmates I have been struck by what a late start I got in
family life. I didn't get married until I was 39 years
old, and my sister commented at the time that I was
"marrying late in life." Reading about our
classmates' grandchildren, I now see what my sister meant.
In high school I lived to play tennis, but I seldom play
these days (though my wife is an avid and very good player).
My sport now is golf. My aging bones have put an
end to my running days -- I ran the NY City Marathon in 1994.
The only people from our class that I have kept up with
over the years are Steve Daney, of course, and Keith Bolton.
Both have led very interesting lives, and I'm pleased to
report that both are healthy and relatively happy. Hope I
can make it to the reunion and catch up with many old friends.

Well
traveled, is a good phrase, since 1975 - Houston, Galveston,
USVI, La-la-land (aka Los Angeles), Wyoming and now Pinehurst
NC. Although I no longer have family in the area, I'm
really excited to see Tulsa again - almost feels like coming
home.
I've
been married since 1983, have a daughter who is 13, a stepson
who is 29 and 2 grandsons who are 8 and 3. Now that's the
easy way to have grandkids <lol> .

HELLO!!
I have had several jobs(mostly data entry and medical)
and moved around quite a bit since 1975. I haven't ever
been to one of our reunions, but plan to this time. (10
yrs ago was WAY pregnant with my youngest daughter) Running in
circles does get old, so I am planning on going to OSU maybe in
the fall of this year. I have 3 daughters, two grand
kids, and buying this house in cushing
America. Also have two poodles and two cats. It is
a house of LOVE! Since I was kinda quiet and mostly
invisible back in the day, I do not know if anyone will
remember me, but looking forward to seeing everyone. I
would love to find a 74 or 75 yearbook to buy from someone.
Enjoyed reading y'all's profiles. All take
care and hope to see you in June.

Kudos
to whoever set up this web site. I really enjoyed the
last reunion, but won't be able to make it this year. I'm
single (divorced since 1979), no children, have worked in oil
and gas since 1974. I have kept in touch with Mindy Kehr
all these years, and we both reside in the DFW area currently.
My life has been blessed!

Married
Billy Carlton in 1999. Divorced last year. Still
see Carol(Barton), Mary (Logsdon), Rosemary (Kennedy) Vicki
(Rounds) and Vicky (Cummings) regularly. Work at a
trucking company, doing the warranty work. Lived in the
same place since 1989. I have two stepkids, 12 (going on
27) and 15. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

area after being gone for 30 years.
