| often, although after a while it became irritating to have hot Daddies in full leather walk up to me, take my face in a gloved hand and say, "Smile more. You've got the cutest dimples." NOT what I wanted to hear! Over the years I found that I made a terrible slave and a lousy boy (I'm too willful) even though I found bottoming more comfortable than Topping. Eventually, I found my center as a Leatherman -- as an equal, push-it-to-the-limit type. I have also done my share of charitable and community service volunteering and even published a small Leather rag for a while. Still, there are areas of Leather I have left to explore -- and many other areas of life as well. I hope the Fates have it in store for me. I finally got to IML in 2001 and it was a transforming experience. If you've never gone, treat yourself. It's amazing. |
| I'm in the middle of a journey that began in '76 when, at 18, a guy I met offered to take into 'The City' (Manhattan) to see what the gay bars were like there. That's all this Jersey boy needed to hear! My host decided to end his night by leaving me at the notorious MINESHAFT. What a way to end the night. What a way to begin my education! I grew up a sheltered sissy, and while the smell of leather excited me, I was confused by the men hanging around the doorless bathroom. I was too busy being self-conscious and scared to enjoy myself. Fear didn't keep me away, mind you. I may not have understood, but I knew I wanted more, and I knew I wanted to fit in. I went back to The Mineshaft |

| Of late I've been thinking more of finding a one-man relationship. I guess I'm getting old That doesn't mean I'm not still interested in play, though.
