What is the difference between happy and sad?
What is the difference between planning and fate?
What is the difference between love and hate?
The difference is easy to see
the thought has never occurred to me
it is as plain as the difference between silver and gold
or at least that's what I have been told
Good is good and bad is bad
happy is happy and sad is sad
planning is planning and fate is fate
love is love, but never hate
Don't ever think of hurting yourself
cause that would hurt me, too

No matter what time of day or night

Are emotions not more than words?
Can they not get you through the absurd?
They can make you laugh or cry
Make you want to live or die
They make you want to ask why
They make your joys touch the sky
you wonder could your emotions lie.
Is an emotion not more than a thought
can a true emotion be sold or bought
they can make your mind very hazy
and also make you feel down right lazy
any emotion can make your mind hazy
follow that dream for true emotion is never crazy
