Cicadas This is the year of the Cicadas. This is the year that they will return. This is the year that the females will no male spurn. Cover your twig like trees and shrubs with a mesh net. Please don't let these insects destroy your plants in a way that you'll regret. They are noisy, clumsy and fly in your face, They will lay eggs in your trees with no disgrace. So, beware of the ugly, flying wings.
