The Eye of the Beholder

Beauty lurks beneath the skin,
Waiting to unfurl within.
Nurtured, praised, and fertilized,
Loveliness is realized.

Not blond, tall, or so defined,
True beauty is colorblind.
Worth is measured differently,
Not just by what eyes can see.

 Angelic voice, thoughtfulness,
These are gems in Beauty's chest.
Loving, sharing, giving care,
Are the gowns that Beauty wears.

Mirrors do not show and tell
Secret gardens grown so well.
Beauty hears the whispered call,
Shares her gifts with one and all.
