Hats

My coat rack is filled with many hats
For the roles I play each day.
Chef's hat, nurse's cap, counselor's chapeau,
Vie with my cabby's beret.

The frayed little league baseball cap too
Hangs proudly with the others.
A large, bright and lovely collection
Of hats to crown this mother.
