Worship
Your beauty and grace outshines all men.
You inspire music, they crashing din.
No name but thine stays on my two lips
As I imbibe your nectar in sips.
I, mere mortal, am drawn to your face
Like small, plain coins to magnet so great.
Your name forever etched in the stars,
Launches ships and creates holy wars.
Your majesty, mercy cower me,
Reduce to nothing humanity.
My empty mortal shell bound to earth,
Craves your saving touch to spark rebirth.
How is it that you have chosen me
To love and cherish especially?
What can I offer thee in return?
A soul aflame, a heart yet to burn.
Beauty, power and strength are all thine.
Lend me a drop that I too may shine.
Reside in me, fill me, guide me true,
So that I never stray far from you.
Many do say you are God Yet Man,
Born of the woman, spirit at hand.
Others deny you exist today.
Precious, loving God to you I pray.
