I hear people ask why so many have such a strong antipathy for the Clintons. I could write about the instinctive hatred some people have against the Clintons. It is well-founded and there is much evidence to justify what appears to be an instinctive reaction to the Clinton's by many people. I suppose it would come under the heading of moral outrage, but I hate to use the term moral because so many people would think I was referring to his sexual habits. I'm not. I do not care one whit about the private sexual escapades of any two consenting adults. It is ridiculous to think that how they handle their sexuality is not a window into their ethics though. It is also very revealing to observe their behavior when "found out". Do they face it honestly? Do they accept responsibility? Or, do they resort to lying in court and making outrageous statements about the very meaning of simple English words in a vain (in all senses of the word vain) attempt at avoiding responsibility? The reaction they have when exposed tells you plenty about the character, or lack of character, of the individual involved. Yes, It is worse when a President is the individual. Not on a personal level, it is worse because he is the chief representative of the laws of our country. When a man in that position commits perjury and obstructs justice in an attempt to avoid responsibility for his own actions, it is not only revealing of his character, it is repulsive on a personal level and it seriously damages a nation striving to be a nation of laws and justice.

However, this is not about Bill Clinton, this is about Hillary Clinton. A person I consider worse than her husband although they share many traits and have been partners in a life long chase for power, money and a false image of themselves as concerned for the well-being of education and the American public. It can be shown by anyone who looks for the information that theirs is a record of total disrespect for what most of America stands for. First, note that Hillary was always a decision making voice in what they both consider a partnership in their political rise to power. She is not a part of the past, she is a NY Senator and will probably be a candidate for the presidency of The United States. Her background and past actions MATTER. In my opinion there is enough to turn anyone against her in just the past two years of her own actions, but let's go for a general overview, THIS time. The Clintons care nothing about education, race problems the military nor the defense of our Constitution. Those are merely issues they use as tools in their pursuit of their real goals. This article will cite evidence to prove that. It would take volumes to show it all, but it is there. This is just a drop in a bucket. The Clintons are so ignorant about their own lack of principles that they have both repeatedly made statements that reveal their ethical and moral bankruptcy. They appear to not even be aware that their own statements reveal their true motives. If not for the attempts by astute political advisors to guard their public words there could scarcely be anyone who didn't know that by now. And this is why………..

Hillary Clinton is the darling of many liberals. I cannot understand why, except that liberals are not noted for logic. Her motives are not out of dedication or belief in true liberalism. If I was a liberal I would be outraged that she used my beliefs and convictions in the self-centered, power-hungry ways that she has. Want evidence? One of her facades is an interest in education. Let's check the record.

On education……when Hillary and Bill were running the governorship of Arkansas, the school system there was ranked as the worst in the nation. So, they set out to improve it. A study had shown that the quality of the teachers could effect student performance by as high as 50%. Is anyone surprised by that? I'm not. Good, knowledgeable teachers obviously are THE vital component to educating children. Democrats have insisted for the last 50 years that money will solve the education problems. Money is a much smaller factor than good teaching. By Democratic proposals we are asked to believe that what is needed is more pay for teachers who can not be held accountable for their lack of knowledge and teaching skills. DUH!! All the money in the world won't help if we have teachers who know nothing to teach. That has already been proven by the decline in the education of American students in spite of more and more money thrown at the problem. The Clintons came up with a plan to test teachers knowledge. The reform plan was mild, but it was a step at least. Any teacher that failed the test would be given two years to educate themselves and make another attempt to pass. A second failure would mean dismissal. Of course, that bastion of American education, the teacher's union. was appalled at having a teacher being asked to prove they knew anything to teach and fought it. The teachers union is an influential vote for the Democratic party and the Clintons had to decide what to do. But I get ahead of myself. The test was given and somewhere between 30 and 50% of Arkansas teachers failed the test. The Clintons took steps in the end to keep these numbers quiet. The Clintons called in Dick Morris (more later about him) for advice. Bill made the point that HE could decide exactly what was a passing grade so there was still time to work the numbers. He told Morris that he had to get back the teacher's union vote and asked him to do a poll of Arkansas voters to find out how many teachers they expected to fail. The poll showed the public thought 10% would fail. Remember that number. Back to the Clintons. What would a person who was truly concerned about education do in their predicament? Here is what they did. They decided on a score that only failed 10% of the teachers. Only a handful were ever fired for failing the test. They thereby appeased the teacher's union, saved Democratic party votes and of course, threw to the dogs the interests of the students and the quality of education in their state. That proves what their values and goals are, NOT education, not the public welfare, but the advance to power of Bill and Hillary Clinton. The scary part is, they got away with this and similar actions many times, because they know something most of us don't want to acknowledge. A vast number of American voters don't ask questions. While we gripe about politicians we do nothing to demand that they be held accountable. Too many of us want to be rocked to sleep. We don't want to be required to think. Sadly enough, the vast majority of failing schools in this country are urban schools with large numbers of minority students. Why aren't more Americans of African descent raising hell about such unfair treatment as this? I can think of no higher insult to race than to assume that they don't deserve the best teachers available.

Hillary's fantastic return on her 1,000 investment in cattle futures was an issue for awhile. It should have been. She earned over 100,000 dollars on that. Not long ago some economists figured the odds of such a return as 1 in 250 million. I can't help but laugh at that. Wasn't 250 million close to the number of the population in the US at about that time? It's hard for me to see much difference in Martha Stewart's stock trading practices and those of Hillary Clinton. This was not the only questionable stock deal Hillary was involved with. Her business activities alone would make a scandalous book.

About her book. Sheesh! Her book is nothing but her own popularity poll preceding a presidential race, in my opinion. A popularity poll that Simon and Shuster financed for her. She is very good at that. She has already received half of the 8 million dollars advance and will not get more than 8 million no matter how many books she sells. It was written mainly by ghost writers, no surprise there, but the fact that it contains many lies and is obviously just another tool for self promotion means I won't waste my time reading it. This book is being touted as a candid and personal account. Well, candid is a bald-faced lie and personal? I don't know. Maybe three of the already acknowledged ghost writes would answer that for you. Even if they were only acknowledged after attempts to deny them failed. That alone takes care of the candid part. If I want fiction, there are many good fiction books on the shelf. Her choosing the title "Living History" should classify the book as satire, but the frightening part is, too many will accept it as truth. On that note, I wonder how many members of the media still realize that the words credible and truthful have two separate meanings?

Dick Morris is an interesting person. He was a Clinton advisor for over 20 years. He has released an open letter to Hillary challenging one of her stories from the book and made many statements about others. He is sort of unique in the Clinton Administration in that when he was exposed as a user of prostitutes he left office. At least he paid for professional services and didn't use his power over his employees and associates to attain sexual favors like his boss did. His letter states that Hillary lied in her book about a specific incident when he was physically attacked by Bill Clinton during the time Clinton was governor of Arkansas. Here is his letter to Hillary and the world……

Dear Hillary,

In your new book, Living History, you correctly note that when you asked me to help you and Bill avert defeat in the congressional election of 1994 I was reluctant to do so. But then you assert, incorrectly, that my reluctance stemmed from difficulties in working with your staff. You even misquote me as telling you: "I don't like the way I was treated, Hillary. People were so mean to me."

As you know, I never said anything of the sort. I had, in fact, no experience in dealing with either your staff or the President's at that point, and had not yet met Leon Panetta or George Stephanopoulos. My prior dealing with Harold Ickes had been twenty five years earlier.

The real reason I was reluctant was that Bill Clinton had tried to beat me up in May of 1990 as he, you, Gloria Cabe, and I were together in the Arkansas governor's mansion. At the time, Bill was worried that he was falling behind his democratic primary opponent and verbally assaulted me for not giving his campaign the time he felt it deserved. Offended by his harsh tone, I turned and stalked out of the room.

Bill ran after me, tackled me, threw me to the floor of the kitchen in the mansion and cocked his fist back to punch me. You grabbed his arm and, yelling at him to stop and get control of himself, pulled him off me. Then you walked me around the grounds of the mansion in the minutes after, with your arm around me, saying, "He only does that to people he loves."

I continued to work for Bill since I felt a responsibility to do so until Election Day in 1990. But our relationship was never close and never the same. After the 1990 campaign we parted ways as a direct result of the altercation.

When the story threatened to surface during the 1992 campaign, you told me to "say it never happened."

That, and not the invented conversation in your memoir, was the reason that I was reluctant to work for Bill again.

Yours,

Dick Morris

Morris has also stated this week that, contrary to what Hillary's book states, she and several staff members, always knew about Bill's philandering. Some of those staff members have verified this publicly. Becky Wright, Clinton's chief of staff in Arkansas was quoted as saying she "had to pull him out of one-too-many bedrooms" It has been published that Hillary Clinton personally contacted Jack Palladino, a private detective in California to discourage 19 women from coming forward about their relationship with Bill Clinton during the 1992 Presidential Campaign. The list of 19 women was provided by Becky Wright. Palladino was paid 110,000 dollars out of the Federally matched funds for that campaign.

Hillary states in her book that she knew nothing of Monica Lewinsky until Aug 15th, 1998. Bill told people that he had attorney Bill Kendall tell her on Aug 13th. Hillary states that on their trip to Martha's vineyard no one but the dog would have anything to do with Bill. There is a photograph of her, Bill and Chelsea in Walter Cronkite's boat. She and Bill are smiling and Bill has a thumb-up fist in the air. This was eight days into the trip during which she says she was "shunning" Bill. One of Hillary's chief defenders, Sidney Blumenthal, relates in his book that two days after Bill had told Hillary about Lewinsky and immediately after The presidents address to the nation he spoke in turn to Bill, Hillary and James Carville during the same phone call to the White House. While he spoke to Carville he could hear Bill and Hillary " bantering" in the back ground and was pleased they were still working as a couple. Bantering is defined as good natured joking.

Even Barbara Walters is defensive when challenged about her interview with Hillary. When Walters was questioned by reporter Sean Hannity about Hillary's statement that Bill had never lied to her before the Lewinsky affair, Walters snapped. "Look! I'm just telling you what she SAID. Ok?" Hannity's disbelief about the statement was based on Hillary's own assertion that she didn't believe Gennifer Flowers statements in 1992 about her affair with Bill until after she read his deposition.

Hillary Clinton, after entering politics in the 1960's, ordered her senior thesis to be sealed from public view.

As Staff Attorney for the House Judiciary Committee in 1974, Hillary stated "To confine impeachable conduct to indictable offenses may well be to set a standard so restrictive as not to reach conduct that might adversely affect the system of government. Some of the most grievous offenses against our constitutional form of government may not entail violations of the criminal law. . . Io limit impeachable conduct to criminal offenses would be incompatible with the evidence. . . and would frustrate the purpose that the framers intended.... Impeachment was evolved. . . to cope with both the inadequacy of the criminal standards and the impotence of the courts to deal with the conduct of great public figures. It would be anomalous if the framers, having barred criminal sanctions from the impeachment remedy." That isn't how she felt when the impeachment being discussed was her husband's.

In 1981 Hillary wrote to Jim McDougal about the Whitewater deal, "If Reagonomics works at all, Whitewater could become the Western Hemisphere's Mecca." The Clintons got a 50% interest with no cash down. The Whitewater development was fifty miles from the nearest grocery store. The Washington Post reported that some purchasers of lots, many of them retirees, "put up houses or cabins, others slept in vans or tents, hoping to be able to live off the land." More than half of the purchasers lost their plots thanks to the sleazy form of financing used.?

In 1985 she was given a $ 2,000 retainer by Madison Guaranty. She later denied that. When records were released later that proved that she had accepted the retainer she passed it off with a remark that all lawyers had retainers from bankers. Mr MacDougal testified that the retainer was a substitution for a former method of contributing to the campaign of then Governor Clinton.

In 1993 the Clintons fired seven long term employees of the White House Travel Department in order to replace their function with a company that had given Bill Clinton one million dollars in fly now pay later campaign trips. When hackles were raised the Clinton's charged Billy Dale of the travel dept with with mismanagement and alleged kickbacks. A jury found him not guilty in less than two hours. The Ray Report released in 2000 called her denial of involvement in this affair "factually inaccurate". It stated that she was a factor, if not THE factor, in the decision to replace the White House Travel office with Bill's campaign benefactors.

Also in 1993, not even three hours after Vince Foster's body was found, Mrs. Clinton's chief of staff was among the Clinton operatives who searched his office. It was searched again two days later, but US Park Police and FBI agents were not allowed to search the office on grounds of "executive privilege." Foster's suicide note was withheld for over 30 hours by Clinton staff, when turned over it was in 27 pieces. One piece is still missing.

In 1996 Hillary claimed she was named for Sir Edmund Hillary. At the time of her birth, he was an unknown beekeeper. She was five years old when he climbed Mt Everest and became famous. She also claimed to be a former duck hunter in a 2002 campaign trip in upper NY state.

In a 1997 self promotion campaign, Hillary had herself photographed supposedly reading to sick children in a hospital. Unfortunately, children who have undergone chemotherapy are often bald and bloated and not "cute". So they used healthy children of the hospital staff for the pictures.

Another quote from Hillary commenting on the release of subpoenaed documents …. "I'm not going to have some reporters pawing through our papers. We are the president."

And though the supply of information goes on and on, I will stop for now, with this recent quote from a NY paper… "Had she any shame, she would resign." With those words, the New York Observer - newspaper of record to Manhattan's intelligentsia - became the first major publication to suggest that the corruption now coming to light in the Clintons' pardons-for-cash scandal makes it untenable for Hillary Rodham Clinton to continue serving as New York State's junior US Senator. "With the nation and indeed the world watching, we (New Yorkers) entrusted her with the US Senate seat once held by Robert F. Kennedy and Daniel Patrick Moynihan," the Observer says in its scathing editorial. "It is clear now that we have made a terrible mistake, for Hillary Rodham Clinton is unfit for elective office. Had she any shame, she would resign. If federal officeholders were subject to popular recall, she'd be thrown out of office by springtime, the season of renewal." The paper warns that the Clintons are banking on the short memories of the electorate; that even now Bill and Hillary are plotting their return to respectability -- biding their time till the latest scandal blows over and they can return to power.

So, Dear Friends who ask me why I and others dislike Hillary Clinton so strongly….this is a VERY small sample. Many people had an instinctive and negative reaction to the appearance of Bill and Hillary Clinton in national politics, A reaction that caused many of us to seek out their record. Their record proves that our instincts are working just fine.
