Do you remember the Valentine Box that sat on the teacher's desk? Do you remember making Valentine cards, or addressing the cards your mother bought, and stuffing them in the box for your friends? Do you remember the excitement you felt when the Valentines were passed out? Did you get a card that was bigger than the others and had more lace then the rest? Valentine's Day was a day of fun back when we were young. Do the boys and girls of today have a Valentine's Day box like we had in our day?

Hearts and lace,

A radiant face,

You're the cutest,

You're really a case.

Let me be your Valentine,
Let me know your love sublime,
Let me call you sweetheart,
Because for you my love is blind.

Diamonds and Rubies
Sapphires and Pearls,
Amethyst and jade
For all your love, I would not trade.

Diamonds and rubies,
Sapphires and Pearls,
And, like a boob, he’s
Buying them for girls.

Let me be your Valentine.
Let me know your love sublime.
Hugs and Kisses are just fine,
But hurry up before we're out of time!

Hearts of youth,
Hearts of the old,
That old geezer
Is much too bold

Roses are red,
Snowdrops are white,
So it’s said
In poems folks write.
