Paper-white narcissus, amarylis tall and red
Bloom here on my window sill on this winter day
Giving the room bright color that tells me
To have patience, Spring is on it's way

It won't be long before the crocus under the tree
Will be poking it's head thru the cover of snow
It's always the first flower to bloom that I see
Then the daffodils and tulips start to grow

It's a time for re-birth, to celebrate living things
For the renewal of hope in a brand new season
Take time to listen to the song the bird sings
And your heart will be light, and Spring is the reason
