Steel, passion and fire,
these three I desire!

Steel to give support to ev'ry part,
passion to rouse the waiting embers,
fire to fuel the heat of pent desire.

Remembrance is fine,
performance is better.
Let come what may,
I'll have my say about the strength,
the purpose of the steel,
the passion I feel about what is before,
and all the desire that is making me soar
into vaporous visions of young days of yore,
when the steel and the passion and fire
were no more than a few wisps of longing
in simmering breast, and the push of the passion
lay quiet at rest.
