and as the smiling bookshop attendant
leads you past rows and rows
of shelves all stacked with copies of

then through the self-help gurus
think positive eat healthy gurus
new age gurus new sage gurus massage gurus
boardroom gurus bedroom gurus gossip gurus
how to make your first million by fifteen gurus:
You’re increaslingly sure
here is a well-versed guide guru who
knows.
Like a fast and efficient search engine this one is truly reliable:
Yahoo, Yahoo, Yahoo!

But hey...I didn’t ask for "Pottery Section!"
Oops, sir, you mean "Poultry Section"...
No problems, sir, "Poultry Section" is next turn...

Thanking the bookshop attendant enough there and then

(just purely out of curiosity)
you catch a glimpse of one Seamus Heaney

and The Pros and Cons of Ostrich Rearing.
Thinking it must be some other rich & famous Heaney
you give him a miss and continue your grand journey
towards the Shangri-lalala indeed!

When you finally reach it
you’re so glad you did!
The same Yahoo feeling as stumbling
online onto any fabulous www
by chance your Shangri-lalala indeed!
