With a great amount of rythm and a little bit of blues The Mavericks created their album Trampoline in 1998. The four man country band use salsa beats, catchy melodies and gospel influences in combination with their country soul to create an awesome blend of music.
This band from Nashville, Tennessee has a classic country style mix of sad love sagas and upbeat dance music. Trampoline required the use of three back up singers and over twenty five musicians. The musical craftsmanship of these sounds are a true treat to those inclined toward audio satisification.
Although the album's mainstream reception was less than headline worthy, it was a hugely popular success in the United Kingdom. This is an incredibly talented band that will hopefully enjoy popular success here in the United States in the near future.
