  1. Starting positions are determined by point average, with the highest point average starting on the back of heat races.  Drivers appearing for the first time in any division will be placed at the rear of his/her heat and feature races for that racing program.  Judgment of ability of drivers to compete will be made by track officials.  They can then assign him/her a position to the rear of events until such time that the driver’s skill allows him/her point average position.

  1.  If a car does not pack the track a minimum of three laps that car will not be allowed to hot lap.

  1. Cars may not scratch from the original line-up of any race to start in another race.  Every car that signs in will be placed in a feature unless scratched or disqualified for the night.  If a car scratches from the line-up cars will move straight up  No Criss-Cross.  This includes a first lap restart.

  1. The car/driver combination entered for the race program can not change once the heat line=ups have been posted.

  1. Race line-up will be posted on the pit board.  No delay between races will be tolerated.  Cars will be staged by line-up in the staging area.  Once the pack enters the track the gate will be closed.  Once the light is out no other cars will be allowed on the track.  Cars will stay in the line-up position and race will start upon completion of parade lap.  Any car who does not remain in the line-up position or cars who do not get in original line-up in staging will start on back.

  1. From the start of a race to the checkered flag – the flagman controls the race.  Drivers watching off-track signals will not be tolerated.

  1. The car on the pole shall set the pace as determined by the flagman’s signal for the start of the race.  No car will overtake or pass another car before the green flag is thrown; this also applies to restarts.  On restarts, after one lap or more has been completed, cars will go between cone and the wall.  There will be no passing of cars until you pass the cone.  If you hit the cone or pass a car, you will be put on the back at the next yellow or red.  In the case of no restarts – penalized 2 spots at the finish.  Second offense will result in disqualification.

  1. Spins or tangles occurring on the first lap in any event will call for a complete restart.  Any car stopped on the track or those causing a restart will be put on the back.

  1. If a race is stopped after the first lap is completed, the cars will be restarted in single file in the same position that they crossed the finish line during the last full green flag lap.  Any car stopped on the track will be put on the back.

  1. When the yellow comes out, the lead car will immediately slow to parade speed.  Passing another car under yellow flag conditions will not be tolerated.  Non-compliance will cause cars to go to back of line-up.  Drivers refusing to cooperate with officials during line-up will be sent to rear.  Any car that stops on a yellow for any reason will be placed on the rear.  Exception:  You may stop to have an official check for car or driver safety.

  1. If a car spins out by itself during a race causing a yellow flag, he/she can continue to race, but must start on back.  If a car spins out more than once the car is finished for that race.  However if he/she is touched by another car, he/she can continue.  In a spin involving more than one car, all cars get to restart but must start on rear.

  1. If your car develops a problem, causing it to slow, move to the inside of the track toward the infield.

  1. Drivers only may work on car in the infield only.  Never on track surface.

  1. All cars that require assistance due to a mishap that caused the yellow or red flag must go to the back of the pack on a restart if they are able to race.  On realignments after a yellow or red flag, if a car pulls out of line (except by track officials or safety) he/she goes to the back of the pack.

  1. When a red flag/light appears, all cars must stop immediately.  Any car that passes the accident site will be disqualified.  Do not drive to a place on the track for your convenience.  You may not start or drive your car while the red light is on without instructions from track officials.

  1. On a red flag, you can work on your car in the designated infield area only.  However you must be ready to go when the signal is given to restart.  Failure to be rolling when the lead car completes one yellow lap will disqualify you from that race.  Mechanics, etc will be allowed to enter the track on mechanics red only.  There will be no mechanics red except A Feature.  There will be no mechanics red first five or last five laps.

  1. Cars that have left the racing surface and entered the infield may re-enter the track on straight always only.  Re-entering in corners will cause the car to be disqualified.  Cars must be on the racing surface when crossing the start/finish line to be scored for that lap.

  1. The end of the event will be official when the lead car receives the checkered flag, regardless of how many laps the other cars have completed.  Spins or tangles by remaining cars after the checkered flag falls and able to finish the race will hold their positions and be scored in the order they cross the start/finish line.  Cars unable to restart will be scored by number of laps completed.

  1. Any feature race shall be subject to being called at the track officials’ discretion.

  1. If you stop to argue with a track official  you will be disqualified.

  1. All cars finishing in the top 10 must stop at the scales and weigh.  Crew members or spectators entering the weigh area and touching cars and/or driver will cause disqualification.  If you are light, the car and driver may pull to the side – untouched – and reweigh a second time.  Even if you are 1 pound light you will be disqualified.  It is your responsibility to check your cars to  Will Rogers Raceway scales.  Anyone finishing in the Top 10 and does not weigh will be disqualified for the night with a non-entry which means the race will not be used for your point average.

  1. Cars moving to a higher feature will forfeit lesser feature points.

  1. Prize money will be paid for A features only.  Jr Sprints and 250cc classes are trophies only.  Money can be picked up and must be signed for at line-up shack.  No money will be paid without a valid social security # on file.  Money must be picked up and will not be held over..
