Round 2
SAS 3.5
Enemy engagement in the north on the route to Pont l'Abbe.
A Tiger takes position and gets the shot, destroying the R3...
In the next round german forces drive west

down the main street in force. 3 tanks in V formation,

two PzIV's led by a Tiger VIE, move to the crossroads

and come under allied close infantry assault along with

a Sherman at the southwest corner and 57mm AT gun

in the Church. The spearhead attack is met with force.

Germans take the east side of the Crossroads

but get no further.

St. Jores
While down south an allied R3 gets ahead of its support squad and pays the price for taking the lead. Wruff's troops arrive too late as Kayser burns up the allied tank.
Allies secure the four corners.
Wruff moves in to meet Kayser's forces moving accross the street under cover of smoke.
Another assault on the house in the north near St. Sucance. An allied flame tank burns up Kaysers boys, preparing the position for the order to move in.
Pop smoke and charge the german position!
Allied armor provides suppressive fire from the south side of the house.
Kaysers troops light up their explosives, blowing themselves and everyone else up.
Day 3
Germans attack from the south this morning,
led by a PzIV moving in from the train tracks
Allies hit the tank with a 57mm AT Gun in St. Jores Church and a Sherman parked along the river bed.
After enduring several hits the panzer is destroyed.
It's wreck blocking the route into the south.
Another Panzer emerges and pulls onto the bridge...
...but fares no better than their friends before them.
Kaysers forces once again move up the main road  from the east and are welcomed by allied guns.
The Tiger firing on the AT gun in the church is assaulted from several directions.
A Sherman brings its cannon over the hedge while a Stuart broadsides it  from the near north.
Finally killing the big tank.
Another Kommand PzIV moves towards the Crossroads.
Allied infantry wait in ambush for the right moment.
A hail of grenades comes down on the tank before an Assault Squad gets the best of the german tank.
The Americans finally break the northern flank and move in behind enemy lines, taking the Hotel and resecuring the Crossroads as an eerie silence descends on the battlefield.
A shaken voice is heard praying from under a panzer wreck near the Crossroads...

"Ich bin klein. Mein Herz ist rein.
Soll niemand drin wollen
als Jesus allein.
Mude bin ich geh' zu Ruh.
Schliesse meine Auglein zu.
Vater, lass die Augen Dein
uber meinen Bettchen sein."
Americans accept the german forces unconditional surrender.
