 |
| nikits crosses the river and heads south as Wruff moves to set a position on the southeastern hedge when his panzer rolls right up on an allied squad. The panzer quickly reverses it's course as a support squad trailing the german tank drops and opens fire to supress the allied squad while the Panzer backs out to a safe distance and finishes off the ambushing American team. |

| Suddenly a Stuart appears out of the trees and fires on the PzIV. As you can see, it's never a good idea to scrap with a Stuart at close range. |
| On the other side of the river, north of the trenchline, American forces assault towards the Road Junction. A Kommand PzIII makes a move for a close volley with another Stuart while a german team charges up the hedge for a close assault on the allied light tank. |
| The PzIII is destroyed and the infantry assault on the Stuart fails. The team is lost. |
| That afternoon german forces set a concentration of forces in the south hedgegrowth in an attempt to put down the American advance through the southern flank. The Americans, intent on continuing their earlier success come in force. Immediatly hitting german squads with an unseen R3 flame tank and advancing westward with assault troops and big tanks. |
| The R3 appears over the hedge and opens fire on the PzIV |
| ...but exposes it's softer side to the german tank. |
| German teams criss-cross through the hedgegrows in two-team attachments, assaulting several US squads in ambush. Pushing back the allied advance and clearing the fields in the south. |
| A Wolverine is hit by a VIE Tiger 300 meters west up the Secondary Road. |
| German advance in the north is met by US Assault squads and several allied tanks. |
| A Command Sherman is destroyed before Nikits assaults the Panzer with a Wolverine and Stuart. |
| A team of Grenadiers charges in and hits the Stuart with a barrage of grenades before it retreats back accross the road. |
| Then advances again in support of allied infantry and lending a hand to the Wolverine to finish off the PzIV. |
| Clearing the southeast side of the river, german infantry assault an allied AT gun on the riverbed and secure the road to Valognes. |
