Afternoon of day 1 Day in Buron (2nd battle) AA_Lambi(german) vs Wruff

Thanks to Lambi for contributing some great shots to this AAR

Lambi stacks the north side of town in order to get the jump on Wruff's flank. The battle begins with guns blazin'.

The gun is quickly spotted and hit from the rear by another Jag in the south.

Allied ATG spots a german gun covering the north and eliminates the threat.

Wruff moves into enemy territory and takes position for an assault on the 2 story house.

Lambi moves troops in to defend.

The allied assault is put down when german troops ambush from the hedge line.

FRIENDLY FIRE A german armored vehicle explodes when a 42 round bounces off the concrete barrier and slams into the unfortunate german crew.

Wruff gets into postition for another push into german held territory.

There's that Jag again! Moving up  the road towards allied positions.

But doesn't get far when another allied ATG  covering Wruff's six hits the big tank.

Allies push into enemy held territory. Clearing the yard and securing the Church.
