Germans counter attack through the center of the battlefield taking the Control Point and securing the way for german forces to clear the northwest and advance to finally take Cap de la Hague. |
| The battlefield centers on both sides fighting for the Hotel de Hague. Germans take the Hotel only to lose control to allied counter attack. U.S. naval guns squash the german reserves. |
Stumpy counter attacks early the next morning. AB troops and a Stuart tank assault and break the german line sending Pzt_Wruff retreating to defend the Chateau. |
| Day 3. German defenses at the Hotel go up in smoke. Allies drive in securing the germans left flank and position themselves for a push into the North. A PanzerII and german machine gunners held the line preventing a total colapse. |
| Later in the afternoon the germans regain lost ground in the North. The allies, preempted by Naval bombardment, launch an attack through the center towards the Orchards to split the germans forces. The assault is repelled by Panzerschreks and MG42 teams. Another german assault on a well defended Hotel de Hague prooves costly for both sides, but is in german hands. |
