The Adventure Begins You start by profiling your age, name, and physical appearance in order to create your character. When that's taken care of, next will be the personality test, where you tell a bit about yourself. Upon completion you will be officially given access to your Personal NeoGate(PNG) and the incredible new world of Neopia.
	NeoGates The NeoGate is a special trans-dimensional warp device that acts as the bridge between Neopia and Earth. In Neopets Ultima, it functions as a Log In/Log Out system. Each user will have his/her own NeoGate, but to leave Neopia (Log Out) you have to access your own. Warp Gates Warp Gates are used to go to different places in Neopia. To use a Warp Gate, approach it and press ENTER or RETURN when the Command Icon appears to open the Warp Menu. Then, choose your destination from the list and press ENTER or RETURN. Commands Like I may have already mentioned, actions in Neopia are recognized by the appearance of the Command Icon (the ! symbol above your character). Users When you approach another user character, the Command Icon will appear. Press ENTER or RETURN to begin a conversation, which functions somewhat like an IM program. To talk, type your message into the text box, and press ENTER or RETURN. Click the "End" icon on-screen to stop and resume normal play. NPC's Unlike users, Non-Player Characters(NPC's) are incapable of full conversations. Instead, you can pick from list of preset phrases. Careful, though, 'cause saying the wrong thing could get you in trouble. However, most NPC's are friendly, and some can even join your party. Neopian Database The Neopian Database(ND) is where you'll find info about Neopia. It has plenty to choose from including The Neopian Times and Neodaq. Neohomes Now Neohomes serve an actual purpose (other than for winning a trophy). It houses your pets when they're not in your party. You can even hang out in it yourself. Plus it's where you access your PNG. Games In every world in Neopia there's game arcade where you not only have a fun way to pass time, but also a chance to score some extra NP. Random Events Yeah, there's still going to be Random Events. Only now you can do something about some of them.
