I feel blessed to
Spend another day with

Nestled in your arms.

What have I done to
Deserve such a creature?

You've made me laugh,
You've made my life meaningful
Once again.

You've made me think
About feelings I never knew
I had.

Through you I have seen
What has been missing from
My life all these years.

And with you I am complete.

Without you, I am helpless.

If you were not beside me,
I would be alone and afraid,
Left in the dark as I
Waited to die.

But my life has changed
Since I met you,
You have shed light
Where there was only
Darkness.

You have turned my nightmares,
Into wonderful dreams.

I have become the person
I always wished I could be,
And I owe it all to you.

I feel closer to you
Than I have ever been to
Another being.

Each morning, I feel blessed
As I awake beside you,
And I wish for only one thing

To have you always by my side,

Inside my heart,
