UDAs
By
William H. Smith
Undocumented aliens (UDAs),
today we have an unparalleled invasion of people entering our country illegally,
by way of our southern border. It is
estimated that only twenty percent of the UDAs entering the United States are
from Mexico, the remainder are from other suppressed countries such as, The
South Americas, Russia, and China.
Many of the undocumented
aliens are running from a country that is ruled by a government that tyrannizes
the people, while others are brought to the United States to work, their
transportation paid for by employers of this country. One contractor in Phoenix is paying $800 for each head that is
brought to him for work (if one is in the market, you know others are also in
the smuggling business of human bodies).
Ranchers along the Mexican border
are being invaded by UDAs and threatened by prosecution if they attempt to
protect their property and families.
The Border Patrol cannot (or will not), protect these American citizens. The public must be involved if there is any
hope of correcting this runaway problem (similar to taking back the
neighborhood programs).
The people of this country
that are isolated from these trespassers on American soil don't have a clue of
what is happening, and because of this insulation they are crying over the way
the UDAs are treated by the border property owners. Since its not their livelihood that is being threatened they can
be critical, of those Americans trying to protect what is theirs.
The destruction is obvious
within seventy-five miles of the border.
These illegal foreign trespassers are killing livestock, destroying
fences, stealing automobiles, invading homes, carrying drugs, leaving abandon
automobiles along the roadways, reckless endangerment with automobiles, and
depositing autos/auto parts and other trash that is left behind for the
American citizens to clean up. Our law
enforcement regulators seem to be taking a soft approach to the problems,
prosecuting only the citizens trying to protect their families, property and
country.
The best solution to this
problem may be to pay Mexico, to place these trespassers on our soil, in
Mexican prisons. Understanding how the
prison system in Mexico operates, this solution should pretty much solve our
problem.
This we know will not
happen, the bleeding hearts (those not harmed by the trespassers), the law
enforcement facilities, (Judges, Prosecutors and supervisors of the various
agencies that are paid to act on the citizens behalf), drag their feet, look
the other way and prosecute the
private citizens’ are trying
to protect what is theirs. This
heartless procedure of law enforcement can only be called, Job Security.
In the March 10, 2000 issue of The Sunsiter an article
appeared, why we are seeing the large influx of 'UDAs". I have these questions to ask: Why can't
these illegal immigrates obtain a "Green Card" so they can work
legally in this country as other Mexicans do?
Why do they destroy private property?
Why do they leave such a large amount of trash behind? Why do they invade private homes? Why do they threaten Americans with their
automobiles? Why do they carry drugs to
this country? Other questions could be
asked.
Mr. Escobar states, the
Mexican citizens are only exercising their rights. What gives these foreign citizens (trespassers) the right to
destroy private property, threaten Americans, steal from Americans, and break
American statues? Mr. Escobar also
states he bemoans the fact that some of these "UDAS" are fairly well
educated, and needed in Mexico. What
right does the Mexican Government have to dump their unwanted trash (UDAS) on
U.S. soil? Mr. Escobar seems to think
there is a great demand for Mexican workers, he is probably right since some
contractors are paying eight hundred American dollars to have UDAs brought to
this country. Why are these aliens
forced to come to this country as undocumented aliens?
When Americans enter into
Mexico, they must conduct themselves under Mexican law. When Mexicans enter the U. S. they should be
obligated to obey our American laws.
Remember, not all undocumented aliens are from Mexico and that only ten
to fifteen percent are caught and sent back to Mexico. Adding more manpower to the Border Patrol
would do little
good in correcting the
problem, considering how the UDAs are handled.
When they are caught, both the illegal entrants and the persons doing
the smuggling are transported back
to the Mexican border and
released. They repeat their attempt to
enter into the
United States, until they
are successful.
