God has been good to us and provided through a very loving family the ability to open up a cyber or internet cafe, or cabinas as they say here. The idea behind the cabinas is to provide a few jobs, provide a place to live for a family, and have some funds for any social projects or activities at the church.
Currently there are three youth from the church working throughout the week. The jobs give them the free time to go to church and also to study if they desire. We didn't want to provide the typical job offered in Tacna that gives them 10-12 hour days, 6 days a week, and very low pay.
The cabinas also provide a place to stay for a family of the church with some financial problems. They are a family of three that are very faithful and helpful in the church and it gives us great joy that this business can provide for them a place to stay. |
