CD Review from The BC Christian:

Sheep: Supernatural Love, Sheep Ministries, 2002.

By Peter T. Chattaway

This Vancouver-based Catholic group recorded their debut in Delta and Toronto, between 1996 and 2001.

'All I Need' and 'Lamb of God' feature particularly good female backing vocals, and the male harmonies shine on 'Her Saviour.' 'Go to Sleep' is enhanced by supple and lively violin, and 'Christ is a Lifestyle' features a pretty good bit of rap. 'Praise Medley' starts as a slow song of comfort, and segues into a high-speed tribute to the Holy Spirit.

There are also some imaginative lyrics -- as on 'Never Ending,' which speaks of "gold illusions hiding thorn-filled fields."

The instrumentation is skilled -- especially the violins by Tina Kelly, Mike Greba; and the CD features good lead vocals by chief songwriter James Paul O'Neill.
