WHERE THERE IS NO DOCTOR comes to Cambodia A new revised edition of the classic health reference manual - Where There is No Doctor (WTIND) - will soon be available in Khmer in Cambodia! PSP, the organization that produces Health Messenger magazine, is the publisher. First published in 1973, Where There is no Doctor is the most widely-used health manual in the world. It has been translated into more than 75 languages, and provides practical, easily understood information on how to diagnose, treat and prevent common sicknesses. Health workers, clinicians and other involved in health prevention and service delivery programs benefit globally from this reference book. WTIND pays special attention to nutrition, infection and disease prevention. This new Khmer version of WTIND includes updated information on medicines for all basic health problems, the care of newborns (including Kangaroo Care), and childhood vaccinations. New sections have been added on Dengue Fever and HIV/AIDS. All information has been adapted for the Cambodian context and is being reviewed by the Cambodian Ministry of Health.
