A few days later. Mineko was ready to go, but there was a bit of a delay.

“What do you mean no pictures?”

“I’m sorry miss. But I didn’t see any pictures in the pocket when I went to get them…?”

“Well find them. I’m not leaving without them!”

“Right.” Mineko and a few nurses and doctors went on a hospital wide search for the stack of pictures. Finally one doctor found it when he was going out for a cigarette break.

“Thank you.” Mineko thanked him and the other hospital staff, and left. She put the pictures in her pocket and taped them there. “And there you will stay.” Mineko walked down the road and looked at the houses. But she didn’t know what she was going to do. She had nothing to do. She could take a trip to a colony. But which Colony? She didn’t know.

Mineko arrived at the front step of the most recently occupied safe house in a wood not to far from the hospital. She walked in, hesitating with the handle.

“Well. It looks like I’m back here any way? Hey.” Mineko said walking up a wall. “Didn’t I just see you the other day?” Mineko laughed a bit to herself. The house still smelled like the gang, the smell of them all together; the smell of all their colognes and shampoos. Mineko laughed again. She had always used Wufei’s shampoo. L’ORéAL Kids Shampoo, it was Burst of Cherry-Almond. She loved the smell of his hair at night. She loved how soft it made her hair, too.

Mineko went back to Wufei’s and her room. The one she had gotten the pictures from.

“I’ll stay in here.” Mineko found some sheets in a hall closet. Mineko put the sheets on the bed and put the pictures under the mattress. She then took her jacket off. She laid it on the bed and looked around. She went to the bathroom and checked the water. It was off. She then phoned the people who let them stay in it, and told them she was going to be occupying the house.

“Yes. That’s right. We all won, and everyone left, so I will be occupying this house. What? I don’t know!” The man she was talking to asked her what home it was. He told her there was a loose floorboard by the door. He told her to lift it up and see exactly what number was under it. Mineko did so. “It says SSE3456.”

“Right. I’ll have the water on in a few hours. We can do it all manually from here. And this house is all paid off?”

“Yes sir.” Mineko said in a sure voice.

The man said bye and they hung up. “I need a shower. But I have nothing to do until then. I’m not going to stay here and longer than I have to.” Mineko vowed that, and she vowed she would keep that promise. Mineko went to lie down. She was very tired. And she was very weak.

When Mineko woke up a few hours later, the water was on and she took a hot shower with only one thing running through her mind. When she got out. The phone rang. “EEP!!!” Mineko eeped at the sound of the phone. She thought they got rid of it. It had the most annoying sound in the world.

“Hello?” Mineko asked over the phone. There was a slight hint of breathing and then a long pause. “Hello?” Mineko was a bit worried. She had just and a nightmare. A nightmare and now there was someone calling her number she didn’t even know. And she knew they weren’t any solicitors.

“Sorry. Wrong number.” Then there was a click and a long beep. Mineko hung up the phone and stared at it for a while. The voice was very deep. It was evil too. Mineko didn’t like it at all. “Hm.” Mineko sighed. “Oh well.”   Mineko went back to her bed and laid down again. She thought about her nightmare and wished she had never had it.

She dreamt that everything was completely different from what it is now. Treize was the supreme ruler of the Earth and Space and it was all because she couldn’t kill him when she had the chance. And she dreamt that they had captured Wufei and was torturing him because she didn’t finish him off when he was supposed to. She had tried to find the others, who where also being held, but when she got there, the whole building was in flames. Not a living soul roamed it. She tried to find the others, and when she did, they where all dead, crisp, black corpses. She screamed and ran from the building. Only to find herself in a portion that wasn’t there before. It was a dungeon.

Mineko walked through the dungeon and found Wufei hanging on a wall. He had no shirt on, and his pants where torn. He was bleeding and unconscious. “Wufei!” Mineko ran to him, and got the chains off him. He opened his eyes and looked up at her.

            “Mineko?”

“It’s ok. I’m here now baby. Everything’s going to be alright.”

            “The others?”

            “The others are…”

“Dead.” Mineko and Wufei heard a voice that echoed through the dungeon, it was nasal and cold.

“Heero?” Mineko asked. “But you’re dead.”

“I know, and it’s all your fault.  You killed us.” Heero was joined by Duo who wrapped an arm around Heero’s waist. Then Quatre and Trowa who where in each others arms came up behind them.

“Guys. I didn’t. No! I’m sorry. I was to late. But…I’m sorry!” Mineko shouted as they came near her. She looked down at Wufei. He closed his eyes, then opened them again and they where completely white. He was dead. Everyone was dead. She looked back to the others and saw that Noin, Milliardo, Sally and Une had joined them. “NO!” Wufei reached up to chock Mineko, but she moved away. He had a good grip on her shirt, but she broke loose. Her shirt ripped and his arm came off. “NO!!!” Mineko let out a blood-curdling scream. They where all Zombies.

“Come on. Mineko. Join us.” Duo gestured for Mineko to come toward them. Wufei got up and went to Sally. She rapped his arm around her waist as Duo did to Heero. Then his other arm came back and he raped that around her waist as well, and rested it on her butt.

“Wufei?”  Mineko looked on in horror. She was pissed off now. Wufei kissed Sally and they remained like that for what seemed like an eternity to Mineko. When they pulled away, they both looked at Mineko and she felt tears in her eyes. They burnt and finally she let them out. “NO!!! Let go of him! I won’t let you take my Wufei!” They all smiled at Mineko to reveal bloodstained fangs. “Get away from me!”

“Why don’t you join forces with us and take revenge on Treize.” Noin asked.

“Never! I’d rather be his slave!”

“His Excellency betrayed us.”

“He betrayed you. Duh! We where never on his side.” Mineko said in a smart-ass voice.

“Get her!” Quatre called.

“Kill the traitor!” Trowa added. “She must not leave here!”

“She did this to us! And she will pay. The Cinq Kingdom must prevail!” Even Milliardo was in on the whole “Kill Mineko” thing.

The Gundam pilots approached her first. Mineko kicked Quatre and he fell to the ground. Trowa helped him up and scratched at Mineko. Mineko’s face stung from the cut he left.

“GO AWAY!!!” Mineko screeched. They backed off from the high pitch of the sound. But angrily headed for her again. She threw a chain at Wufei and Sally. She hated them. The chain didn’t quite hit them, but hit a piece of glass. The whole glass broke. Little pieces of glass, and images of her friends on them, started to move away from her into what looked like a black hole.

“Come with us.”

“Join us.”

“Mineko. Be one of us.” All the voices of the people who where once her friends. They had abandoned her.

Mineko bolted up right in bed, to find she had just had the same dream over again. She pulled her knees up to her chest and cried. “Wufei.” She wanted to be in Wufei’s arms. She needed to be with someone. She needed to talk to someone.
