A few weeks later later, Mineko left the house to go for a walk. She didn’t have any money to by food, and she had no food. Heck. The hospitals food would have been better than anything at hat point. She used the last of her twenty to buy a few things, but it wasn’t a lot at all. She had gotten a job at Publics, but got fired for sleeping on the job. She had tried to tell them why her life was hell, but they wouldn’t listen. She had gotten one paycheck and that was enough to buy more food that lasted a couple weeks. Now she had no money.

It had been nearly a year or so now since the war had been over it would soon be X-mas again. And she was insane! She paced around the house and the front yard like a mad man. She didn’t know what to do with herself. She was hyper and tired at the same time. She couldn’t sit still, and that was why she was taking a walk.

She had had the same dream over and over again for the last few weeks and it wouldn’t go away. Even as she walked down the street, images of the dream wouldn’t stop racing through her mind. The boys lying on the ground, dead and smoking, then Wufei being chained to the wall and the others moving toward her, one by one, sneaking up from in the darkness. Wufei’s eyes turning white, and then the most horrible. Wufei and Sally kissing in each other’s arms. And they where all zombies with fangs. Blood stained, vampire fangs. She knew she would never look at vampires the same way.

Mineko was lost in her thoughts. Images that just seemed to haunt her to no end ran in little circles inside her head. Mineko heard voices. So many voices. Her friends. Telling her to join them. Mineko took off running. She ran into people on her way.

“Sorry.” Mineko finally put her head down as tears streamed down her face. Mineko ran into someone hard. There where a couple of thuds, and what sounded like metal hitting the ground. She looked up to see a boy , who was just slightly taller than her. He had on a pair of greenish pants and a white shirt. And a jacket that looked so familiar, but she couldn’t place it. “I’m sorry. I didn’t…I didn’t mean to. I wasn’t watching where I was going.”

“It’s ok man. I don’t care. I’m sure you where in a hurry to go somewhere.” Mineko got up and brushed herself off. Then looked behind her.

“No. I was in a hurry to get away from something, actually.” She heard the boy pick up the things he dropped. “Here, let me help.” Mineko turned to see that the boy had all of his stuff. His eyes where still hidden under a navy blue hat. “Oh.”

“I’m sorry for all the trouble I’ve caused you.” Mineko thought that that sounded so familiar, but from where?

The boy finally lifted his head to reveal big violet eyes and brown bangs. “Oh my God.” Mineko backed up a bit. She took at good look at the boy. He had brown hair, and violet eyes. He seemed to be just a bit taller than Mineko. And he was carrying a bag of car parts or something. “Duo?” Mineko gasped as she realized whom it was. “DUO!” Mineko ran up to Duo and threw her arms around him. Causing him to drop his bag again. “I can’t believe it’s you.”

“Oi, do I know you?” Duo seemed confused. Mineko backed away with a puzzled look on her face. It had to be Duo. He even had Duo’s chestnut brown braid. Mineko had on her jacket, which was way to big for her now, her red torn shirt, and her pants. Her pants where almost falling off of her she was so skinny. She had really dark circles under her eyes and she was bruised badly. Because she was so weak and skinny, everything Mineko bumped against made a bruise.

“Duo. It’s me. Mineko.”

“Mineko? No, Mineko looked a hell of a lot different than you. Sorry miss. You must be a fan.”

“No. It’s me.” Mineko was sweating and her bangs where stuck to her forehead. And her hair was a mess. “Please Duo. It’s me.”

“It can’t be. Mineko went home.”

“No. I didn’t. I have no way to get home.”

“Than tell me this. If you’re Mineko. What…”

“Duo Maxwell!” Mineko shouted.

“Ok, ok.”

“How many time have I told you? Put your laundry in the laundry basket when you’re done with them.” Mineko said in the same voice she would have any other time. Although her voice was raspy because her throat was dry and soar. But that was how she sounded when she got sick. She even stood the right way. Putting on her pressure on her left side while her right foot was extended to the side a bit, and her arms where crossed. She eyes had a certain look when she was mad too.

“It is you. No one, and I mean no one, has enough PMS to sound like that but you.” Duo walked up to Mineko and hugged her.

“Duo, you’ve grown.”

“Mineko, you’ve shrunk.” They both laughed at Duo’s sarcasm.

“If that was a joke, you’re be mean. If you where being sarcastic that’s even worse.” Mineko recalled that from what she heard from Sally during the war with Marimeia.

“I was just picking up a few things for Hilde. I was heading back to the Preventers base. Hilde and Une are there. Heero said he would be there soon too. Wanna join us?”

“I’d love to. I didn’t have any where to go anyway.”

Duo and Mineko walked there and talked.

“So why didn’t you go home?”

“I would have, but I have no way of going home. And now, I just miss you guys too much. I have some bad news to tell you.”

“Well, then you tell us all, we’re here.” Duo and Mineko walked through the big door to the Preventers HQ.

“Hey guys. I’m back.”

“Duo. What took you so long?” Mineko heard Hilde’s voice.

“Sorry. I ran into some trouble.”

“What happened? Are you ok?” Une asked as he walked up beside Hilde. “Oh and Duo. Milliardo and Noin are here. Milliardo and Noin walked out from behind a wall.

“Hey! Guys! It’s been a long time. How are you?”

“We’re fine.” Noin said walking up to Une and Hilde with Milliardo.

“You said you ran into trouble?” Milliardo asked.

“Yeah. Guess who I found wandering the streets?”

“Huh?” They all looked at each other puzzled.

“Duo…” Noin was cut off by Duo’s voice.

“You can come out now.” Duo stepped to the side, and out from behind the wall Duo had walked in from, Mineko stepped out. She was a bit slow and shy at first. She was a bit embarrassed too. Although, she didn’t know why. These where her friends she was looking at, Right? Not Zombie’s.

“Who…”

“It’s Mineko, Hilde.” Duo said reassuringly.

“But how. I thought she went home.”

“No. She has no way to get home. She realized that after the war ended.” Noin walked up to Mineko. Mineko backed away.

“You guys aren’t bloodstained fanged zombie’s, are you?!” Mineko nearly screeched.

They all laughed. “No, we’re all very much human.” Une said. Mineko sighed in relief.

They all exchanged hugs. They asked her why she had suggested such a thing, but she said it was nothing. Just a thought.

“I guess I just might have let my imagination go wild.” Mineko explained.

“Well, at least you have one.” Hilde said.

“Hey guys.” They all turned their heads to the door in which Duo and Mineko had entered.

“HEE-CHAN!!!” Duo ran up to Heero full speed almost knocking him over.

“Duo. You’ve grown.”

“That’s what I said. Duo kissed Heero on the cheek and Heero stared with a puzzled look on his face, at a light blue haired girl in a chair.

“Who’s she?” Heero asked looking at Duo questioningly.

“Not mine.” Duo said shaking his arm in the air.

“Who?”

“It’s Mineko.” Duo explained. Heero stared at Mineko and couldn’t believe his eyes. Mineko was so…

“She’s so skinny.”

“I don’t have any money to buy any food.” Mineko got up and took her jacket off to reveal just how skinny she was.

“Oh my.” Noin said backing up to Milliardo. He put his arms around her shoulders.

“And I haven’t gotten much sleep either.”

“Hey Mineko.” Duo said as Mineko sat down. “Didn’t you say you had bad news?”

“Yeah.” Mineko hesitated a bit.

“Well?” Une asked.

“Treize is alive.”

“His Excellency, alive? But…” Une was cut short.

“I was working on the case of recovering the remains of his Mobile Suit. One man found his body in a space suit…”

“But he wasn’t in one. How?”

“We don’t know. But I couldn’t stand it. They took him to a hospital, and I was suddenly “MIA”. I couldn’t take it. Then I wanted to tell you guys, but, I realized you guys where gone and I didn’t know where any of you guys where. I found out sometime after the war with Marimeia. I was just released from the hospital a few weeks ago, the same hospital he’s in. I had a chance to kill him, but pulling the plug on his life support machine would have been dishonorable.”

“What do you mean?” Heero asked walking up to the others.

“He’s in a coma, and I just couldn’t pull the cord. It, just didn’t feel right. I failed. I failed my mission. I’m a failure.” Mineko’s head fell and she let the tears flow. “It’s all my fault.”

“No it’s not.” Hilde said reassuringly. Heero walked over to Mineko and she looked up. Afraid because he looked a bit angry. She got up and tried to take a step back, but a desk was in her way.

“Mineko?” Heero asked calmly.

“Wh-what?”

“You did you’re best. Maybe it wasn’t Treize’s time.” Mineko fell into Heero’s arms. Any shoulder would do.

“I failed though.”

“So what?” Une asked. At least we know he can’t do anything if he’s in a coma. Une said looking out the window. “So he’s still alive?” Une asked herself. “I should, tell Marimeia.” Une said quietly to herself.

“We have our own bad news.” Duo finally said. He really didn’t think Mineko needed this, but she had to know.

“Huh?” The sound of Duo’s voice was one she hadn’t heard in a while, anger and sadness in one.  Something was very worng.

“Wufei’s been kidnapped.”

“What?!” Mineko screeched. “He…I…how? Why?” Mineko buried her head into Heero’s shirt. “Why? Why me? Why does it always have to be one of my friends? Why do these things always happen to me?”

“We don’t know, but that’s why Heero’s here. Quatre and Trowa are on their way. We would have contacted you, but we thought you had gone home.”

“No. I’m here.” Mineko sniffed. “But Wufei isn’t.” Mineko cried a little more and then she straitened up. She had more anger in her face than they had even seen in her before. “No one fucks with my friends and lives!” Mineko shouted. She wiped the tears from her face viciously. “Where was the last place Wufei was seen?”

“He was seen near his new home on Colony L5.” They all heard a very familiar voice. They turned to see Sally Po.

“Sally.” Mineko said as she walked up to the much taller Sally. “Good to see you. Where you the last to see Wufei?”

“No. One of the members, a look out, for the Preventeres for that Colony saw someone take him, in the dead of the night.”

“So you guys have Preventeres posted at every Colony?” Mineko turned back to Une.

“Yes. We have requested he come here. He should arrive in the next few days.”

“Good. I would like to have that area completely searched.”

“We already have.” Milliardo said.

“Check it again!” Mineko commanded. “I swear I will find Wufei if it’s the last thing I do. And whoever took him, will die at the hands of me.”

“Right.”

Mineko turned to Sally. “Welcome back Sally.” Mineko said as she shook Sally’s hand.

“Why don’t you go take a bath and get something to eat? Duo will show you to our showers and our cafeteria.” Noin suggested. “Quatre and Trowa should be here shortly. We called them a few days ago. We called Heero at the same time but you know him.” Noin laughed. They all turned to Heero and he smirked.

Duo lead Mineko to the other side of the complex. A few x OZ soldiers noticed Mineko.

“Hey, aren’t you…?”

“Yeah. The female Gundam Pilot.”

“Right.” The Soldiers waved to Mineko as she and Duo walked by. Duo went up to one and got a report from him.

“I want your guys to have the area searched again.”

“By who’s orders?”

“Hers.” Duo backed away from the Soldiers line of vision to reveal Mineko. She looked like she had a slight case of PMS or something.

“Oh.”

“Listen Jack. For the better of us all, I think you had better check the area again.” Duo said pointing to Mineko. “Unless you want as can of PMS opened.”

“Right. Hey, don’t I know you?” Jack asked as he walked up to Mineko.

“Yeah. Hey Jack. Long time no see. I see you’ve become a member of the Preventers?”

“Yeah. Hey, it pays good money.”

“Well, good luck.” Mineko and Duo walked away.

“Sorry about what happened.”

“Hey. It’s no problem.”

Mineko and Duo arrived at the bath area.

“Hey. I’ll be waiting out here ok? If you need anything…”

“I’ll be fine. I’m not gonna kill myself like I tried to do when I thought Heero you and Wufei died.” Mineko was getting a bit scared. Duo hade never been this serious before, not since Heero self destructed in Wing Zero.

“Ok.” Mineko walked into the women bath area and made herself at home.

After a nice hot bath and a shave, Mineko was ready to eat something. Mineko found a robe and put it on. She peeked her head out of the door.

“Um, Duo?” Duo awoke to the sound of his name.

“Huh? What?”

“I need some clothes.”

“Just use one of Noin’s outfits. I’m sure she won’t mind.”

“Ok.” Mineko re-emerged from the bathroom in a Preventer Uniform. She looked professional and sophisticated. And most of all she looked hot! Duo kept thinking in his mind. No. Stop it! I have Heero.

“C’mon.” Maybe I’m not as gay as I thought.

Duo led Mineko to the cafeteria on the other side of the complex. There, Noin, Milliardo, Une, Heero, Quatre and Trowa awaited their arrival. And there was a man there. A man she had never seen before.

“I take it he was the one who saw Wufei be taken?”

“Yes. But he doesn’t even know if it was Wufei. It could have been anyone. It was dark.” Noin said.

“I want to speak with you.” Mineko and the man left the room for a minute or two. “You think you saw someone take this man?” Mineko pulled out a picture of Wufei she had slipped into a pocket.

“Yes. I think. He looked very much like that, but his hair was a bit longer and it was down, framing his face. He was wearing a black Chinese suit with golden dragons on it and red roses.”

“Sounds like Wufei.” Mineko whispered to herself as she bit her thumb. “Did you see who took him or where they took him to?”

“No. But they went into a nearby ally.”

“Thank you for your time. You are dismissed.” The man left and Mineko went into the cafeteria.

“Mineko!” Quatre ran up to Mineko and gave her a big hug. It’s just like Quatre to give a great big hug.

“OK! OK! Quatre. For a little a sixteen-year-old pacifist, you sure can give a bear hug.” Mineko said in a chocking voice. “Breath. Quatre. I can’t breathe.” Trowa pulled Quatre away from the blue-faced girl.

“Sorry.”

“T’stalright.” Mineko said as she took a deep breathe. Mineko sat down in a seat next to Trowa. Mineko reached over and gave Trowa a little hug. Like Quatre and Duo, he had gotten more muscular and handsome.

“Is that my uniform?” Noin asked as she looked at Duo.

“What?” He asked innocently.

“Yeah. I hope you don’t mind.”

“No. I don’t. It looks very good on you.”

“Yep.” Quatre said smiling. Mineko blushed.

“Oh.” She said quietly. Everyone on laughed at her. “So when are we going to look for Wufei?” Mineko changed the subject.

“Not for a while. You need to eat and rest. You need to regain your strength.”

“But…”

“I’m sure Wufei is fine.” Une assured her. “Why don’t you eat something?”

“Ok. I guess. What’s there to eat!” Mineko cheered up immediately. So they thought. She was smiling like her old self. On the outside any way. On the inside she was getting torn apart. But she made it though two steaks with A1 sauce, a few baked potatoes and sour cream, a plate of karats, and a couple pieces of lemon miring pie, without letting it out.

Later on through dinner. Heero asked what the man said.

“He said he saw a man very much like the one in the picture of Wufei I showed him. He said that his hair was a bit longer though, and wasn’t in a tight ponytail, though. His hair was down and framing his face and he was wearing a black Chinese outfit with golden dragons a red roses on it.”

“Oh. Sound like Wufei.”

“That’s what I said.”

When Mineko was done with her dinner, Duo showed her to her room. And she changed into a pair of black boxers and a white tank top. She then cried herself to sleep. She knew the longer they waited, the more Wufei was in danger. She wanted to see Wufei again. Weather or not he was with Sally on Colony L5 or not, she didn’t ask, but she had the strange feeling he was still hers.

Mineko smiled at the image of Wufei in her minds eye.

Mineko finally decided, “Hell. I’m gonna find Wufei no matter what it takes. So why am I crying my self to sleep like this. I’ve never cried like this before. So why am I now?” Mineko decided that she had a full belly, and she had a good shower so she didn’t feel like crap, and she was in the company of her friends. Her life was the way it was when she came here. And she wanted it that way. But she would be out of practice. She hadn’t been on a mission in at least a month, and she’d never gone that long without a mission. Not really.

The next morning. It was as it used to be. Heero tried to wake Mineko from sound sleep, and she almost broke his nose again. She got up, didn’t eat anything because she normally didn’t, but she made breakfast for the others anyway. She made scrambled eggs and French toast. She also poured them all a small glass of wine. Except for Quatre that is. He stuck with his normal coffee.

“So when do we search the area?” Mineko asked as she sat down next to Heero and Trowa. Duo, who was in the middle of swallow his drink, nearly chocked, Heero looked at him and beat him on the back a few times until he gave a thumbs up. Not because he wasn’t chocking any more, but because back was soar. And then of coarse Trowa, who was about to put a fork full of eggs in his mouth and reading his morning paper, stopped with his fork in the air and his mouth open and glanced at Mineko sitting next to him. Une coughed and Mineko glanced at everyone. “What?”

“But Min…” Duo was about to say something when Heero kicked him under the table. Mineko raised an eyebrow.

“Well. It has come to our attention that you are still not fully rested and a soldier that isn’t one hundred percent…isn’t a soldier until he is. We think it best for you to stay here while we go find Wufei.” Heero was the first to say something. He used his usual cold, flat, emotionless tone of voice. The same one that used to give Mineko chills every time she heard it.

“OH?” Mineko nearly shrieked. But it had a more of a deep anger sound than a high-pitched screeched.

“Well…” Quatre tried his luck. “We can take care of it Mine-chan. Um…” Quatre put his hand on the back of his neck and looked down, searching for the right words. “Please. We don’t want you to get hurt. Wufei will be fine. Mine-chan, you’re still under a lot of stress and you look um…like shit.”

“Whoo-hoo!” Duo cheered. It wasn’t often at all that you heard Quatre curse. He was pretty good at it, but he never did. Even Mineko smirked at it.

Mineko got up and moved behind her chair. She was used to Quatre’s whining by now, and she knew what he was trying to do. No one could resist his little whimpers of disappointment. He sounded like a little child. But Mineko built a shield and had gotten over it. She had fallen at the hands of Quatre Raberba Winner too many times. No more. She told herself.

Mineko put her hands on the back of her chair and stepped back. She arched her back and bit. She closed her eyes and hung her head. She started laughing to herself a bit. Trowa, as calmly as ever, put his fork down and walked away. He was a slit bit scared of Mineko at that time. He still had the same look on his face he always had. Same, cold, emotionless, yet still sad mask that he never took off.

“Oh my dear Quarter-sama. I ‘am’ going on this mission.” She stated. She lifted her head more as she said the lines. And to put more emphasis into her point, on the word ‘am’, she made her eyes a bit bigger and arched her eyebrows. She looked just evil. And the tone in her voice, it was a calm, cold, demanding voice with a touch of feminine sweetness. Which scared Quatre. “I am going to be in charge of this mission. And if I’m gone…” Mineko paused for a second, thinking of her words carefully. “Then Heero.” Heero lifted his head from staring at his plate in front of him. “You will be in command. Is that understood?” Mineko had that authority in her voice that said, “I’m am natural born leader, stay out of my way or I’ll blow your head off.”

Mineko looked everyone in the eyes and went back to her room to change into her knew uniform. Ok, well Noin’s old uniform.

Mineko put her pants and shirt on, and she was in the middle of putting on her shoes when there was a knock on the door.

“Come in.” Mineko said as she struggled with her left boot. The door opened and Quatre popped his head in “I’ve had it with this boot!” Mineko said and kicked the boot off. It hit the ceiling and landed on Quatre’s head.

“Um….” Quatre put a finger to his lip thoughtfully and looked up, not moving his head. “I have a boot on my head.” He stated calmly. Mineko only took the boot and drug it over to her bed. She then sat on the edge and tried to put it on. After about five more minutes of yelling at it, she got it on.

“What Quatre?” Mineko asked ahs she straitened up her uniform.

“You are going on the mission aren’t you?” Quatre said it as more of a statement than a question.

“Yes Quatre. I am. And you know what else I’m doing?”

“What?” Quatre sighed.

“Not falling for your whining act.”

“My…”

“Yes Quatre. All the time I’ve known you, don’t think I haven’t noticed that you whine whenever you want something.” Mineko smiled. Quatre smiled a bit too.

“Really?”

“Yes.” Mineko walked over to Quatre. She put a hand on the back on his head and ruffled his hair a bit. “Hm.” Mineko let out a little laugh. She then hugged Quatre. “It feels so good to be back. I feel…whole again.”

“But…”

“I know. I won’t feel completely whole until I find Wufei. That’s why we need to find him ASAP. I’m falling apart Quatre.” Mineko turned her back to Quatre and put a hand on her forehead. Rubbing it. “I just feel, different.”

Quatre walked over to Mineko and put his arm around her. Just like he used to. “You’re still just like a mom though, Mineko.” Mineko smiled and put her hand on Quatre’s. She lifted her head and looked out the window in her room.

“Yeah. It’s all like it used to be. Hey! I have an idea!” Quatre nearly jumped at Mineko’s shout.

“What?”

“Why don’t we all go visit places we used to. Ice cream shops and stores. All the pizza shops we ever did. It will be just like old times. It reminds me a bit of that one movie. The one with that cool clown. Pennywise? Yeah, IT.”

“C’mon Mineko. You know that movie used to give me nightmares.” Quatre whined.

“I know.” Mineko kissed Quatre on the cheek and ran out of the room. Quatre took off after Mineko.

“Hey, Mine-chan!”

“Can’t catch me Quatre-sama.” Mineko and Quatre sounded just as they used to.

Mineko and Quatre ran out into living room portion of the building. Mineko ran into Heero and nearly fell on her butt. Heero got the message just as he used to. He pulled out his gun and aimed it at Mineko head. Mineko turned to see Quatre coming down the hall. Mineko backed up and jumped over Heero’s head. He was surprised, as well as everyone else in the room, that she was still flexible enough to do that.

“Get back here!” Duo sat on a couch and cheered Mineko on, before getting up and running into the kitchen. He turned the corner and ran into Trowa. He got a little look on his face and Duo ran in the direction from which he had come. He walked out to find Duo laying on the floor on top of Heero who was on Mineko, he fell on them and Quatre walked up. It was like old times all right. Right down to the pattern of who was lying on whom, and who wasn’t.

They all rolled off and Mineko started laughing the same old laugh she always did. A little bit of an evil side, but it was kind of pleasant at the same time. It was more feminine than they all remembered it being, though.

“I see you’ve all gotten back to your old ways.” Une said as she walked in.

“Yep.” Duo said. “Yes in deed.” Duo jumped up and helped Trowa up. Mineko sat up and put her head down, smiling.

“Why don’t we go find Wufei now.” She said. Quatre knew, he knew all to well why she had said it so fast. But she made it as if she was...doing something else. Just trying to remind them that they had a mission, maybe?”

“Right.” They all went into their separate rooms, but Mineko went back to the last base they had stayed at and got a few things, and changed into her old uniform.

Later that day, Heero was the first to emerge from his room. Hi old tank top and spandex on and his gun in his pants. Then it was Duo, who met him half way down the hall in his usual black outfit and priests caller. Then they where joined by Trowa, inhis old gray turtle neck and tight jeans. Finally, Quatre was the last to join them in the living room. He has his khaki pants, light pink long sleeved shirt and purple vest. He even had his goggles. They all walked out the door, one by one. Then they all walked out onto the front lawn and the second they hit the sidewalk. Mineko joined them. She had her green tank top, short blue spandex shorts, her solid material black stockings and her ankle high, old leather boots. It was like something from a movie. They where all in one line, and this all happened in a more, slow motion kind of thing for them.

They all stopped walking at the airport.

“Mission…” Mineko started.

“…Accepted.” Heero finished.

“Time…” Mineko.

“…To...” Heero.

“...Kick…” Duo.

“…Some…” Quatre.

“…Ass.” Trowa.

The expressions on their faces, where just as they always where. Heero had the same icy cold, emotionless look. Duo has his usual sly grin; Trowa had his black, expression with a hint of sadness. Quatre had almost a look of worry, but tried to smile anyway. And Mineko had a look of pure hatred.

When they all got there, they all got tickets to take the next flight out to Neo Colony L5. But on the way to the shuttle, Mineko stopped. She looked at everyone behind her. She had an almost blank look on her face.

“What is it?” Quarter asked.

“Sky.” She said. No one knew what she ment. They hadn’t seen anything wrong with the sky.

“Mineko…” Duo was cut off.

“Sky-san.” Mineko said in the same blank, and almost confused manner.

“Who?”

“Sky Shi.”

“Oh!” Duo finally realized what she was talking about. “What about him?” He asked.

“I don’t know. I guess I was just having a flash back.” Mineko turned and proceeded to walk on.

They finally got on the shuttle, and they picked a four-seat section, and asked if they had a chair of some sort they could pull up, luckily, they did. Mineko and Duo had the window seat, Heero sat next to Duo and Trowa sat next to Mineko. Quatre sat in the extra seat. On the way, Mineko fell asleep and instead of having the same nightmare she had been having, she had old dreams, split up and mixed up with other ones, and relived memory’s of their past.

“Hey, Wu-man! I was only kidding!” Duo ran from an infuriated Wufei.

“Maxwell! Kisama! You’ve broke my katana for the last time!” Wufei ran after Duo. Duo jumped over the couch Mineko was sitting on and slipped so he landed on Mineko. Quatre almost fell out of his chair laughing at the scene.

And other flash backs came. But ones she had completely forgotten until view in a simple dream. The days they first met.

Mineko is walking down the street with a friend, P-ko. They had both arrived from the Sailor Time Line. One second they’re walking down the street. The second, the earth beneath them has disappeared and all their surroundings have turned white.

When they landed, they were in the middle of a battle that was unlike anything they had ever seen. Not to say it wasn’t cool, but landing in between two giant machines capable of mass destruction on a rock hard ground, isn’t very fun.

Mineko, well, Michi, and P-ko sat there, dumbfounded. They had never seen a robot so big, and they had no idea of how it was being piloted. Michi didn’t think it capable to run something that big on a little remote control.

“What the hell are you two doing out here?!” they heard a voice coming from a giant black machine. It looked so evil. Michi stood up to get a netter estimate of how big it was. She couldn’t tell, but it was damn big. The voice wasn’t anyone around them, so Mineko’s first guess was that it was whoever the pilot of that machine was.

“How the hell should I know!” Michi shrugged. Just then, P-ko got up and ran to the nearest bush that was possible to hide under.

“Michi!” Michi turned around turn find another giant machine falling near her. It was white and had a green jewel on the front.

In an attempt to get up, the white suit put its arm out a bit, and hit Mineko.

“Heero! Above you!”

“Well, at least we have a name.” P-ko said coming out to see if Mineko was ok. She was unconscious. “AIAIAI!!!” P-ko yelled at a giant explosion.

“They’re coming in to fast. DUO! Get those two and lest go!” Another voice called. This time it came from another white machine. But with brown on it.

“Sorry, I only have room for one. Someone gonna have to sit on my lap or something.” The black machines voice said again.

“Heero, can you fit someone in your cockpit?”

“Aa.” The reply from the white machine was cold and emotionless. It was kind of nasal too.

The black and white Mobile suits bent down near P-ko and Michi. The cockpits opened and two teenage boys, about fifteen jumped out.

On boy had violet eyes and a long chestnut brad. He was wearing a black outfit with a priest’s caller. The other one had on a pair of black spandex shorts and a simple green tank top. Hi hair was an unruly mop of dark brown hair. His eyes where icy cold, just like the emotionless expression on his face.

“You’re gonna have to come with use little lady. And bring your friend.” The braded boy said. And of coarse, being P-ko, she immediately jumped on him.

“You’re cute!” She shouted.

“Ok. It looks like she’s going with me.”

“Hey Duo! Just don’t be making out in there!” Another voice came from the white and brown suit. The braided boy just grinned.

“Duo?” The boy, supposedly Duo turned to the blond haired, green eye girl that had latched onto him.

“That’s me. I may run and hide, but I’ll never tell a lie. I’m Duo Maxwell.”

“Right. I’ll take her.”

“What the matter Heero. Don’t want ht extra noise?” Duo asked in a sarcastic grin.

“No.” The other boy picked up Michi as if she weighed nothing. She was wearing a boy’s school. Then again, Heero couldn’t tell she was actually a girl, and P-ko was to busy hanging on Duo to notice anything else. P-ko on the other hand was wearing a girl’s school uniform from a school they hadn’t seen.

Later, they had arrived at a small cabin a wood. When Michi finally woke, up everything was clear that she was female. They kept insisting she at least see a doctor to see if anything was broken, but she wouldn’t do it.

Michi thought to change her name, yet again, to something more of this Time Line, like she did the last. Mineko sounded nice. (Thanks to my friend P-ko for helping me think of a new name for her, Mineko works. Thank you!)

They had all introduced themselves, and from then on, they became the Gundam team. But not without a few hundred fights about it. P-ko soon after found a way to leave.
