The Imp Continues
 

Mariemeia and Une sat at the table, waiting for Mariemeia's new boyfriend to show up. "You speak so well about him but you won't tell me his name. Why is that?"
"Oh, I want to surprise you," said Mariemeia. Well, it's not that I WANT to surprise you but . . .

Fei started walking towards the table.
"Is that Fei Chang-Po? I wonder who he's meeting," said Une.
"He's the boyfriend."
Une's smile sagged and her hands began searching for her glasses in her purse. They weren't there because Mariemeia had snatched them out of her bag before they drove over to the restaurant. "Mariemeia, you took my glasses, didn't you?"
"Yes, mother."
"Hi, Une. Hi, Mariemeia!" said Fei, sweatdropping ever so slightly and pouring on the charm. "You both look lovely today."
Une blinked at him as if she was trying to get something out of her eyes. "Please sit down. Mariemeia and I have to use the ladies' room." Une grabbed her daughter's arm and dragged her to the nearest bathroom, leaving Fei to put his head on the table.
"Mom, what are you doing!"
"I should ask you the same thing! Do you know who that is?"
"Yes, I know who he is."
"His father is Wufei Chang!"
"That's why I turned him down the first ten times he asked."
"You should've gone for a record."

Fei pulled out his cellphone and said, "Mulan, it's me, Fei."
"Fei, how's the lunch from hell going?"
"I don't know.  They both went into the bathroom.  They've been in there an
awfully long time."
"I think they're talking about you."
Fei sighed.  "That's what I thought.  How's dad and mom?"
"Mom has stopped sedating dad.  Dad finally accepted the fact you're dating
a much older woman who happens to be Treize's daughter."
"But he still grumbles and prays it ends soon, huh?"
"Oh, yeah."
"What about mom?"
"She's fine with it.  She reminded dad that he, too, married a woman who was
older than him though not as much as fifteen years."
"She also threatened him with no nooky."
"Yup!  Don't worry, Fei.  Mariemeia sounds pretty tough.  Une will just have
to deal with it."
"I guess.  Talk to you later."
"Bye now!" Click.
I'm hungry, thought Fei.
