Part 1

"Is there any news from Sally?"  Wufei asked as he walked into Une's office.
"No, communication may be down but I don't think it is.  There's little possability she's been captures, Sally's not
careless, but it might have happened," Une answered.
 "This is delaying the mission!"
"Is that all you care about?" Noin scoffed.
"Silence woman, who included you in this conversation?" Wufei bit back at her.
"I did," Une interupted.  "Wufei, you know for a fact that we can't leave Sally.  Other than you, she's the best officer
we've got, we can't afford to lose her."
"Besdies, who else could stnad to work with you.  I'm lucky enough to work with my husband.  If I had to work with
you I would have killed you by now," Noin said smuggly.
"Shut up woman!" Wufei growled at her and then turned back to Une.  "What do you expect us to do, wait for her?"
"No, I expect you to go find her.  Before you even start, your mission tomorrow is being taken over by Yuy.  You will
be able to go tomorrow," Une told him.
"But Yuy's wife is expecting their first child soon!" Wufei protested.
"Relena isn't due for a month or so, we have had Trowa or Quatre go but they are still on their honeymoon and they
asked not to be interupted unless it was an emergency, and the mission isn't a dangerous one," Unes explained with a smile.
"Ugh!  You are fickle minded, woman!" Wufei threw his hands in the air in disgust.
"Now, now Wufei.  Insults aren't necessary.  Our tracker is out of range but once you get closer you ought to be able
to locate Sally.  We will give you a month before we send someone after you.  Those are your orders, have a nice day," Une
said, dismissing him with a wave of her hand.
Wufei turned and left as abrutly as he had come.  Walking down the halls he headed toward his personal apartment.
In his bedroom he found the packet with information about his 'new' mission.  He was to leave for colony L-23.  Sally's mission
had bee to verify rumors of weapons being collected by high powered corporations on the colony.  She was suppose to be
abck a week ago but no one had heard from her since her last message which she had sent the day before she had gone to
finish her inspection.  Half of the rumors had been true, she just had to get rid of the weaponry.  Wufei tossed the packet on the
bed and pulled out a duffel bag.  In it he threw extra clothing and rations, on all that he put his katana, fully sheathed, and his
gun.  Throwing the duffel over his shoulder, Wufei walked from his room to go get his shuttle ready for take off.

"Heero has become such a weak man," Wufei mumbled to himself.  The afore mentioned pilot had put Wufei 10
minutes behind schedule because his wife had asked him to get her some more cream cheese and olives.  "Ugh!  Women!  To
think of a woman having control over me is sick.  Only a pathetis man would do that." Settling in to his personal ship, the Chibi
Ryu, brought back memories.  He and Sally used to take the ship on every joint mission.  They would play card games and
trade insults to ungodly hours of the morning.  He never thought he'd say it but he missed the arguements and the endless card
games and challenges.  He could almost even say he missed her sassy and un-lady like manners.  They may not get along that
well but he knew of her fettishes, red lipstick and nailpolish, gold earings and she knew more about him than any other person.
For some reason he was missing her, not only as a partner, but as a woman.
"Ugh!" Wufei said, disgusted at himself.  Emotions were weak.  Besides what right did he have to think of Sally in that
way?  He didn't need women.  Not that they didn't have their purposes.  Even he, the honorable Wufei, had his manly...
demands.  At the age of 22 most women found him irresistable, untill he learned how old fashioned he was.  Wufei certainly felt
sorry for the man who would one day marry Sally.  Not that she would make a bad wife but at times she could drive amn to
murder.  He should know, he'd been tempted to do it many times himself.  Starting up the ship, he typed in the coordinates and
then set off to find is wom...er...partner.

Something was beeping.  Opening his eyes, Wufei saw the alarm clock was going off.  Stretching, he got out of bed and
walked to the control room.  Sitting down in the pilots chair, he checked the ship's status.  Only twenty minutes left till L-23.
She should be within tracking range, Wufei thought to himself.  He switched on the search equipment and watched for a sign of
Sally.  Finally, the tell-tale red dot appeared on the coordinate map.  According to the information he was now able to
download from her tracker, she had been stationary for the past week or so.  That meant she was either captured, wounded or
dead.
"Don't let her be dead, god don't let her be dead," Wufei prayed quietly.  He was scared.  What would he do without
her?  It would be like losing his right arm.  She was his best friend.  Pausing in thought, Wufei just stared into space for a
moment.  When had she become so important to him?  He just couldn't figure it out.  She was his partner, his friend.  Since
when did he start thinking of her as an attractive woman?  Always, his mind answered him.  You've always thought of her as an
attractive woman, you just never ackowledged it before because you were afraid of what you felt.  Wufei sighed.  His emotions
were on a rampage.  He wasn't suppose to feel emotions.  Suddenly the screen started to flash. While thinking, he had arrived.

"This is disgusting.  It needs cleaning.  Do these people have no pride?" Wufei questioned.  The roads of L-23 were
dirty and poorly taken care of.  Homeless were all over the place.  how could anyone allow this to happen.  He knew Princess
Relena must not have any clue about this because she would never allow this to happen.  She'd take in every homeless person
herself before she would let them starve.  He checked his tracker again.  He was about half a mile south east of where Sally
was.  Finally he located the door outside of Sally's location.  Pressing an ear to the cold metal he listened.  He heard a faint
crying sound.  Almost a painful moan.  Was she hurt?  He was worried but relieved.  She was alive!  Stepping back he
examined the door.  It may have been ratty but the lock was a good one.  If you didn't know how to work it, it could keep an
entire army out.  Luckily, he knew the combination.  18-19-17, her initials-Sally Tiana Po.  Such a feminine name for a lady
like her, but in a weird way it fit perfectly.  The lock clicked open.  Wufei opened the door and before he shut it set the lock
back in place...there was a different combination to get out.  It was only one room, dimly lit.  In a corner was a cot, on top of it
was Sally, he could tell.  He walked over quietly, watching her toss and turn-moving just slightly-and mumbling in her sleep.
Wufei knelt in front of her and reomoved the blood stained sheet that was carefully draped over her.  She was lying on her
stomach,  His eyes scanned over her.  Her back was bloody and slashed, it looked as though she had been whipped!  She was
wearing a bloody, torn, long white shirt.  The back of it was ripped out.  On her left thigh was a bloody bandage.  What had
happened?  Wufei was outraged.  How could they do this to her?  Who did this to her?  Sally's haed turned, flinginf her long
blond hair into the bloody mess on her back.
 "Wufei..." she moaned.
He stopped.  Wufei outright halted.  She was asking for him?  His heart started racing.  God Dammit!  This was no
time to be thinking like that.  He searched through the stuff around the room and found a med kit.  Using bandages and
antiseptic he cleaned and rewrapped her wounds.  The slashes on her back were deep, they would leave scars.  What kind of
bastard could do this to a woman?
"Wufei-"cough, "I'm so sorry," Sally moaned again.  She sounded like she was in so much pain.  She sounded almost
dilusional.  Placing his hand on her forehead he felt a firey inferno.
"Dammit, she's got a fever," Wufei growled out loud.  She needs medical attention, he thought, what can I do?
"The ship!  The ships got medical facilities!" Wufei said aloud after the light bulb hit.  Her repacked her bags and slung
them over his shoulder.  Carefully, he lifted her in his arms and cradled her body to his.  She moaned in protest but almost
instantly snuggled into his warmth.  It brought all kinds of thoughts to mind.  Sadly, none of them appropriate at a time like this.

Sally groaned.  Her head was pounding and her eyes felt as if they weighed twenty pounds.  They didn't want to open.
She willed her body to move and somehow managed to pry open her eyes and sit up.  Looking around only one thing came to
mind.  She had been captured again.
"Sally what are you doing?" a shockingly familiar voice questioned in worry.
Her head whipped around toward the door making her head hurt worse.  Wufei was at her side instantly, gently pushing
her back into the matress.
"Wufei...bathroom..." she managed to mumble somehow.
"I'll carry you.  Your too weak to walk," Wufei told her, lifting her in his arms and ignoring her protest.  Sally gave in.
As much as she hated to admitt it, the doctor in her agreed with him.
Setting her down in the bathroom, Wufei walked out and waitied till she was done to carry her back to the bed.
"Are you hungry?" Wufei asked as he set her down and covered her in a blanket.
 Sally nodded.
"Good.  I'll get you fed and then I'll rebandage your wounds," Wufei told her, leaving her absolutely no room for
arguements.

Walking to the small kitchen on his ship, Wufei heaved a sigh of relief.  She was going to be okay.  For a while he had
started to believe she'd never wake up and for some reason that scared him more than anything.
Scanning through the food selection Wufei took out sone chicken broth and some bread.  Pouring a glass of milk he
walked back to where Sally was and put the food on a table by her so she could eat.
Sally hungrily, though slightly clumsily, dug into her meal.  She felt as though she hadn't eaten in forever and she
probably hadn't.  Her food was quickly devoured and soon Wufei took her dishes away to be washed.
"All right, lets get you cleaned up a bit," he said as he pulled clean bandages and antiseptic fronm a med kit.  "Now,
turn on your stomach."
Sally did as she was told and allowed Wufei to push up her nightgown in order to finish.  "This is embarassing."
"Tough woman.  If you wouldn't  get yourself into these messes you wouldn't have to go through this," Wufei pointed
out.
"But it wasn't my-ow!-fault!  Lay of the antiseptic will ya?"
 "Quit whining.  Now, explain."
"I think we have a leak somewhere.  Some one knew I was going to the factory that night to dispose of weapons.
When I got there I was ambushed and captured.  I tried to escape but got shot," Sally told him.
"Thus explaining the bullet wound on your thigh."
"Yup.  They tried to beat the information out of me but they underestimated me, because I'm a woman, and I managed
to escape.  I got back to my hideout but I don't remember anything after that." Sally finished.
"My god!  Who could do this?" Wufei asked, shocked at the news.
"Probably a minority group against peace that has some friends in high places.  It wouldn't have been a problem to get
rid of the weapons if I hadn't been ambushed.  I should have been prepared for it though," Sally explained.
"You were only one person," Wufei pointed out.
"But you could have done it," she pointed out to him.
"Maybe, maybe not.  We'll never know now will we."
 "I guess not."
"Good.  Now that that's settled you're going back to bed.  You need the rest," Wufei said, tucking her in as a father
would a child.  Wufei turned down the lights and started toward the door.
"Hey, Wufei."  He paused in his steps as she continued, "Thanks for caring enough to come get me.  It really means a
lot."
Wufei pondered for a moment then responded.  "You would do no less for me."
Sally laughed.  "Dunno about that one.  I'd probably be sorely tempted to leave you."
"Ugh!  Women!"  With that, Wufei left the room.

Wufei checked in on Sally for about the twentieth time.  It was as if he thought she would disappear on him.  She was
sprawled on her stomach, the blankets draped over her hips.  Her face looked serene, a slight smile on her lips.  He wished she
would smile more, she was such a work-a-holic.  Then again, so was he.  Walking all the way into the small room, he sat down
on the bed beside her and slowly stroked the hair off her face.  Bending slightly, he kissed her forehead.  The slightest touch.
Smiling, he left her alone.

Sally kept her eyes closed till he left and then slowly opened them.  He had kissed her.  It had only been a small, chaste
kiss, but a kiss none the less.  Had the man she had loved since she was nineteen finally relized he had feelings for her?  It was
almost rediculous.  She was 4 years older than him, who would have thought?  The girls and quatre had guessed but the other's
were clueless, especially Wufei.
Sally took a deep breath and shifted slightly.  Her back was numb and her thigh was killing her.  Guns were great
weapons till you got shot with one, Sally thought with a laugh.  Sighing Sally closed her eyes but sleep wouldn't come any
longer.
"Ugh...feel like shit and I'm not even allowed sleep," Sally joked.  Carefully she sat up and walked to the bathroom.
Looking into the mirror she gave a depressed sigh at the sight she saw.  Her hair was all over the place and her face was slightly
discolored from the beating she had taken.  At least they hadn't touched her any other way.  Turning on the hot water, Sally
took a wask loth and gently washed her face.  She then turned on the shower. Peeling off her nightgown she stepped under the
hot water and let it cascade over her.
"Heaven," Sally whispered.  Using shampoos and soaps she carefully cleaned herslef.  The soap stung her back slightly
but it was well worth feeling clean again.  The bandage on her thigh thankfully kept the soap away from the wound.
When she finished the shower, Sally wrapped herself in a towel and walked back to the bedroom to find another
nightshirt.  Thankfully both Wufei and herself had their own rooms on the ship and kept extra clothing in the rooms.
"Sally!" A voice suddenly broke the silence.
Sally jumped and slipped on the flooor landing on her back on the bed with a bounce.
 "OUCH!" she yelped.
Wufei ran over.  "You stubborn onna, I told you to saty in bed.
"Oh stuff it," Sally told and she grasped the towel in one hand a nd pushed herself up with the other, avoiding Wufei's
helping hand.  "I'm not a baby Wufei.  I feel a lot better.  My back just stings a bit but the pain medication is helping my thigh
and back tons."
"I don't care.  I told you to stay in bed.  Your wounded and you can't be of any help if you don't heal.  Why don't you
just shut your mouth and listen for once!"
"You-you!" Sally jumped up and landed hard on her feet.  "OW!" she yelped again as the pressure vibrated violently
through her bullet wound and she fell foreward landing with a thunp on top of Wufei.
"Arg!  Woman, I shoud have shot you long ago when I had the chance!  You are the biggest nuisance in the world!"
Wufei growled out at her, blowing her hair out of his face.  Sally pulled the rest of her hair out of her face, looked down at
Wufei an started laughing.
"What is so god damned funny onna?"
"You!  You should have seen the look on your face!"
Wufei began chuckling as well and soon they were both laughing so hard they could barely breathe.
"Your impossible woman," Wufei said with a soft smile as he brushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
"I know," Sally said in return.
Wufei looked deep into her eyes, as if to read her thoughts.  In there, he found a desire, a deep demanding desire.
Slowly his hand reached up around her neck and brought her face within an inch of his own,.
"This is a bad idea," Sally whispered.
"Shut up woman," he growled back.
 "Yes sir."
Wufei covered her lips with his own, taking her for all she could give and loving every minute of it.  His tongue dueled
with hers, leaving them both gasping for air and wanting much, much more.
He took her lips again and again, desire pumping through both of them.  His hands traveled up to her buttocks where
he pulled her tighter to him as she wrapped her arms around his neck, her hands burrying themselves in his glorious black hair.
"Ouch!," Sally said with a wince, reluctantly pulling her lips from his.  "My back," she explained with a grimace.
Wufei nodded and gently lifted her off him and then picked her up and layed her on the bed.  Handing her a nightshirt
he said, "I told you so."
"Sure ya did, "Sally teased, both acting as if the kiss had almost never happened.
Wufei started walking towards the door but then turned around and walked back toward her.  He placed a hard,
passionate, quick kiss on her lips then slowly backed away.
"My appologies for your pain sally but, we will finish this, believe me, we will," he said.  He shut the door behind him as
he left.
Sally had the look of total surprize on her face as he left.

Part 2

Sally shut the door to her apartment behind her and tossed her keys on the counter.  Finally physical therapy was over.
The scars left from the beating and the bullet weren't all that obvious anymore thanks to modern technology but they were still
noticable.  Plopping down on her couch she noticed a packet on her coffee table.
"A new assignment, finally!" she said aloud happily.  Opening it she read thoroughly.
She was to go with Wufei back to colony L-23 and get the weapons and make arrests.  through research and Yuy's
hacking skills they had discovered which companies werre hiding weapons and now they just had to finish the job.  The job
was no big deal but to work with Wufei...
He had barely talked to her in the three weeks they had been back.  It was almost as if he had forgotten the entire
ordeal.
Sally stretched her stiff muscles, ignoring the stab of pain in her thigh.
Those last words were still ringing in her ears.

"We will finish this, believe me, we will."

Everyone that knew him, knew Wufei was a man of his word.

"Une, I want a favor," Wufei said as he stormed into into her office as he almost always did.
"Oh joy," Noin said as she stopped talking to her firend.
"Shut your mouth woman," Wufei snapped back at Noin, just noticing the woman's presence.
"As I have undoubtably told you before, there is no need for all the rudeness.  Now wufei, what do you want?" Une
asked.
"I want to handle the L-23 mission alone."
"Funny, Sally came in requesting the same thing earlier this morning," Une said witha smile.  "I'll give you the same
answer i gave her.  No way, no how.  I f you can't stand each other oh well.  It's your own damn problem.  Good luck on your
mission and good-day," Une dismissed him.
Wufei sighed inwardly and retreated from the room.
"How in the world does that woman manage to do that every time?"

Wufei checked his watch.  5:23, she was three minutes late.  Sally was late.  Sally was never late, then again he had
made an agreement with himself to stop thinking about Sally.
 Yeah, right.
Again he went throught the pro's and con's in his mind.
Sally was his partner.  If they were to become lovers they would be able to stay close to one another but if they broke
up things would get akward.  Plus around here, rumors spread like wild fire and he cared about her too much to allow that kind
of thing to happen.  Wufei stopped himself.  He cared about her?  Well, yes he probably did.  Love her?  Caring was bad
enough.  He couldn't let his emotions control him, that would make him weak.  He was never weak, weakness wasn't allowed.
Besides, he was Wufei, he could handle anything.  He hoped.
Lost in his thoughts a sudden noise startled him back to reality.
"I am sooo sorry I'm late!"  Sally appologized as she ran onto the ship.  "My alarm clock died during the night, so I
didn't get up on time and I still had to shower and finish packing.  I threw a bunch of clothes and my uniform in my dufeel and
just threw something on and now we're behind seven minutes and I am so sorry!"
Wufei made sure he was breathing.  Sally was standing in front of him wearing short cut-off shorts, a white tank top
and sneakers.  Her hair wasn't braided and was slightly curled as it draped over her breasts and down her back.  Her hair had
dampened her shirt  and through the wet fabric he was able to see a red lacy bra underneath.  Red of all colors!  That had
always been something he likes about her.  Red was her favorite color and red was a color he liked seeing on a woman, his
woman.  Red was a color representing passion.  It represented fire and if Duo had told everyone he liked a woman in red, Duo
was going to get a personal visit and a hospital room.  Sally would have ignored the braided baka though, she didn't listen to
stuff like that and he found he wanted to get a closer look at her fetish for red 'things'.
"Your late, change into your uniform and hurry it up already," he growled out at her.
Sally gave a mock salute and then walked to her room.

"I'm going to kill Une and Noin, Sally thought as she put away her stuff and changed into her uniform.  Her hair was dry
now that she put it into her trademark pigtail braids.
"I told her I didn't want to work with wufei, that I would either work alone or with some one else, but nooo.  Can't
make it any easier on Sally.  That would only be nice," Sally continued thinking aloud.  Wuei was going to drive her crazy.  She
didn't want to think about him, but he was constantly on her mind.  she kept seeing the passio and hunger in his eyes, the raw
need.
 Damn, damn, and triple damn.
Men!  Well  just one man.  He was going to drive her nuts.  she felt as though any moment she was going to end up
jumping his bones.
 Bad idea.
 Very bad idea.
 Well, maybe, very bad idea.
"Ugh!  This is rediculous!"  Sally said to herself.  "He's a man, a cute man with brood shoulders and a cute behind but a
man none the less.
Finally finished, she left her room and hurried to face her demon, quietly.

Wufei punched his pillow and sighed.  He couldn't sleep and even two hours of meditation hadn't helped.  I must be
getting weak in my old age, Wufei thought.  Yeah right.  He was twenty four, still quite young compared to some people.  Sally
was just a woman, an attractive woman.  She was also four years older than him, not that that was a problem, at least not a
problem he could think of.

"Wufei!  Wake up sleepy head!  I'm gonna drink all the coffee on you!" Sally said cheerfully as she opened Wufei's
door.
Wufei, whom was still sleeping thanks to the lack of sleep the night before, jumped up into a sitting position, the blanket
falling to his hips.
"What the hell do you think you're doing woman!"  Wufei shouted as he held the blanket firmly at his waist.
Sally tok in the sight before her.  Wufei's chest was bared showing all the muscle and sleakness that came from hard
training.  She followed the bare skin to-
"Hey, I didn't know you slept in the nude, imagine that."
The man of strength and honor himself blushed brighter than a maraschino cherry.

Wufei was still grumbling about injustice about injustice later that day when they were landing the "chibi ryu."
Sally couldn't help but laugh as she heard him mumbling about women having no virtue nw-a-days and not caring about
their reputation.  Poor guy, he was still stuck back in the stone age sometimes.
When the ship finally landed, Wufei and Sally packed a minimal amount of clothing each and then signed into a hotel
under "Mr. and Mrs. Chang" and got a large honeymoon suite so they could work.
Sally opened the door and looked around.  "Not a very large suite Wufei."
Wufei walked in after Sally and was soon agreeing with her.  "Oh well. we'll deal."
Silently they set up their computer, vid-phone and anyother piece of equipment they remembered to bring with them.
They worked late into the night.  Typing, planning and drinking coffee, and soon both were alseep on the couch.

 "Woman, get off!"
"Sally opened her eyes while she snuggled into the warmth around her.  Her vision clearing, she saw a very angry Wufei
underneath her.
"Oh, hi Wufei," she said with a smile and she brushed her hair out of her eyes.  "We must have fallen asleep."
"No kidding, now will you please get up."
Wufei waited.  Sally was sprawled on top of him, her legs fit cofortably in the cradle of his thighs.  Her breasts were
pressed into his chest and it felt as though she had always belonged in his arms.  He could feel himself responding to her and
silently cursed hormones.
"Woman, will you please get off!"
"Wufei, you say your a man of your word, ne?" Sally asked.
"I say it because it's true," he told her.
 "Then shut your mouth."
Wufei was about to ask what she had meant when it suddenly dawned on him.  Looking up into her eyes he fisted his
hands in her hair and pulled her lips to his, automatically seeking entrance to her secrets.
Sally knew Wufei had many talents and she just put kissing at the top of the list.  As Wufei's arms held her crushed to
his chest she quickly made work on the buttons on his shirt till she had it completely undone.  With a little help from Wufei the
shirt was gone and she was able to run her hands along the sleek muscle of his chest and arms.  He was so beautifully built, a
greek statue, perhaps better.  She loved the feeling of his hot smooth skin beneath her fingertips.
Wufei moaned.  The woman was going to kill him!  He felt like flipping her over anmd driving into her but she seemed
to want to take the lead and he wasn't exactly in any position to deny her.
Their tongues danced erotically, heightening passion levels to boiling point.  Wufei pulled Sally's shirt out of her pants
and started pulling up.
Noticing what he wanted, Sally sat up, straddling his hardness, which caused them both to groan.  Sally pulled her shirt
off revealing the lacy bra he had only gotten a glimse of before.
"It had to be red didn't it?" Wufei groaned, his hands reaching up and cupping the lacy red cups.
Sally leaned into his touch.  It felt so right, so good.  She felt him reach behind her and undo the clasp.  She let him pull
the bra down her arms, freeing her breast to the slight chill of the morning air.  Sitting up with Sally still straddling his lap, Wufei
cupped her breast, circling the rosy peaks with his thumbs.  His head then moved down and he took one of her hardened
nipples into his mouth.  He lapped the tip with his tongue then began to suckle like a babe hungry for a mothers milk.  He was
hungry all right and it was extremely far from an innocent hunger.
Sally arched her back as the pleasure soared through her, making her moan with the of ultimate completion.  Sally's
hands moved to Wufei's pants forcing him to lie back down again.  As he continued to feast upon her breast she worked on the
button and zipper of his pants.  It took a few moments but soon the pants were gone and Sally could see Wufei's straining
manhood through his black silk boxers.  Tentatively sge reached to touch him only to have him stop her.
"I swear Sally, if you touch me this will be done quicker than you can scream my name," he growled at her.  Sally
started to protest but Wufei quickley put an end to that by pulling her head back down and ravishing her mouth.  Wufei ripped
at her her pants, causing more than one button to go flying into some dark corner.  Sally arched her hips back, letting Wufei
drag her pants to her knees and she was able to kick them off from there.  Reaching down once more he tried to remove her
red panties but when he started having trouble he just ripped the damnable thing off, promising her a whole new night time
wardrobe of anything red.
Pulling  back, she sat up right across his groin causing the sensitive flesh to ache for release even more.  Sally was
absolutely beautiful.  He tried to reach for her but she shied away.
"Uhuh, my turn," she teased, a devlish glint in her eyes.  Leaning over she nipped at his pulse on his neck and then
licked the area with her tongue.
"You taste salty, and male," Sally told him causing Wufei to groan and clench his hands.
Moving lower, she lapped her tongue across his chest, making lazy circles that were driving him mad.
Moving even lower she reomoved his boxers and kissed him THERE.  She licked at the tip of his manhood causing
Wufei to shudder with want Slowly, delicately, she ran her tongue all around him, tasting and exploring till Wufei thought he
was going to bust.
He felt a need so powerful it overwhelmed him.  Pulling her up he savegly took her mouth once again.
"Now!" he growled, and he thrust up into her.  Sally slid down his lenght till he almost touched her womb.  Nothing had
ever felt so good.  He paused for a moment and then started moving inside her, coaxing her into matching his rythm, thrust for
thrust, grind for grind.
"My god..." Sally breathed heavily.  She thrust her hips foreward, urging him on," she pleaded.
Wufei was all to willing to comply.  He sped up the rythm till neither of them had any control left.  They hit the peak of
passion at the same time, like a wave it rolled over them.  A wave of fire that was consuming them both.  The flames slowly
cooked and Sally  dropped her head to Wufei's heart, content to stay with him...always.

The alarm clock.  The alarm clock was going off.  Wait a minute, Sally thought, we don't have an alarm clock.  It must
be the computer...
Sally's eyes flew open and looked down at the man slowly waking up beneath her.
 "Sally?" Wufei mumbled sleepily.
"The mission!" They both exclaimed after a moment of thought.  Jumping from the couch, they both scrambled to find
their clothing.  Wufei finished while Sally was putting on her boots.  Pulling out their weapons he handed Sally her gun, both of
them walking out the door in silence.

"Now Sally, remember.  No playing hero.  You do what you have to but don't do anything stupid," Wufei warned.
"Of course not, I'll leave that up to you."
"This is no time to be a smart ass woman," he growled.
"Do you ever use someone's name if you don't have to?  I know you know my name considering the fact that you knew
it well enough less than 2 hours to be shouting it that loud."
Wufei silenced her with a kiss.  Stubborn onna.  She just didn't know when to shut up.  He continued kissing her untill
he decided his point had been taken.
Sally shook her head,  pulling herself out of her dazed state.  "I hope you don't shut everyone up like that," she teased.
 Wufei smiled.  "It works."
They continued on, walking to each building that had been on the list but so far they hadn't found anything.  There was
one place left.  An old warehouse that had been abandoned.
"They probably stashed all the weapons there thinking we would give up if we didn't find anything in any of the buildings
before but it still seems too easy," Sally said.
"Makes me wonder f there is going to be another ambush, stay on guard here," Wufei warned.
Sally nodded and they continued.  When they reached the building they walked in and nothing happened.  Walking a
little farther then suddenly heard many loud clicks and then the warehouse lit up showing Wufei and Sally that they were
surrounded and outnumbered about two to thirty.
Sally sighed.  "Don't people know how to fight fair anymore?"
 "Hello Wufei."
Sally and Wufei turned toward the voice.  It was Une's male secretary, Mr. Sugoshi.  He had been an officer in the
Treize faction.
"What do you want Sugoshi?" Wufei asked.
The man laughed bitterly.  "I can see your in a  good mood Mr. Chang. Not enough sleep?  I'm surprised to see your
little friend here.  We didn't think she would survive let alone escape.  I'll have to finish her off after.  To answer you, I know
Mr. Treize liked you, he thought you were most worthy opponent.  He didn't even know you for gods sake!  At least not that
well.  He was the one person I looked up to and he never acknowledged that.  He never wanted to duel with me.  He barely
even gave me a chance to prove myself to him.  He beat you and now I will.  I want to prove that I am every bit a man as he
was!" Sugoshi shouted, drawing his sword and rushing at Wufei.
Wufei drew his katana with the speed and grace of experience, blocking the hard blow.  "Treize is dead but he will
always be more man than you.  Treize was a man of honor.  He didn't fight for revenge, he didn't fight in vain.  You sir, are
weak."
Wufei delt blows of his own.  Sugoshi's men formed a circle around the two duelist, blocking Sally from stopping them.
Pulling out a small bomb, Sally went in search of the weapons she had seen in other places the first time she had been here
knowing that Wufei needed to fight.  The halls of the warehouse were damp and moldy and smelled rotten.  She moved along
quietly, opening doors and looking around corners, making sure no one was following her.  Soon enough she found the
weapons, all in crates in a back storage room.  Placing the bomb on one of the crates she set the timer for five minutes then ran
as fast as possible to reach Wufei.
 "What took you so long?"
Sally whipped around and knocked into Wufei.  He stood her back up and chuckled at her clumsiness.  "That wasn't a
long duel, what happened?"
Wufei scowled.  "Sugoshi was a weak man, half crazed and set on revenge.  He was not worth my superior skill nor
the time it takes me to clean my sword to perfect shine.  Therefore he and all his buddies there are tied and ready to be sent to
jail.  The police are on the way."
"Well tell him to make it fast because we've got about three minutes left before this place blows."
They started running as fast as possible.

"You stupid onna!  You could have gotten killed.  Why the hell did you go back for your gun?  You could have gotten
a new one!" Wufei yelled as he washed the cut on Sally's forehead.
"Oh, stuff it.  I could never find another gun like this.  Howard had designed it just for me as a favor.  Besides, I'm still
alive."
"Ugh!  Your giving me grey hair-"
"Can I see?" Sally interupted with a teasing smile.
"No, what you did was ca-"
"Careless, stupid and reckless.  It could have gotten me killed and then what would you do?" Sally finished.
"You could be carrying my child!" Wufei finally shouted at her.
Sally shut up.  "I never thought about that."
"Obviously.  Your a doctor Sally, we didn't use pretection.  It was careless but we can't do anything about that now.
Your going to have to marry me."
 "What!"
"I will not have any child of mine born out of wed-lock," Wufei stated firmly.
"That's adsurd!  We don't even know if I'm pregnant.  I refuse your offer," Sally told him.  Even though i love you and
want to be your wife more than anything in the world, she added silently.  "I'm on birth control anyways."
 "Thats not fail proof Sally."
 "Pretty damn close."
"Fine.  I will give you time to think.  Your obvioudly out of it or you would know that marrying me is the only option."
Wufei's favorite wine glass was shattered against the door as he left.

Part 3

The sickness began only a month later.  Sally became personal friends with the toilet as she was there throwing up all
day.  She didn't tell anyone.  She decided to ask Une for a transfer, somewhere where she could     be alone for a while.  She
had to figure out what to do.  She would never, EVER, stop Wufei from seeing their child but she was so confused.

 "When are you due?"
Startled, Sally looked up to see Noin.  "Nani?"
"I asked when the baby's due," Noin repeated.
Sally checked to make sure she was still in her chair.  Standing up, she grabbed Noin's arm and quickly walked till she
pulled her friend inside her apartment.  "How the hell did you know?"
"When you've been pregnant yourself three times you get to know these things.  The signs are pretty obvious."
 Sally groaned.
"-to someone who's been through it before," Noin finished.
"I hope no one else knows," Sally said.
 "Une knows."
"Great, then she probably has figured out why I asked for that transfer for a while."
"Yup.  We figured Wufei's the daddy since you've been in love with him for forever.  We also figured that Wufei
screwed up again," Noin said.
"You have no idea," Sally warned.
 "This I've got to hear."

"Okay, let me get this straight.  The night before a mission you and Wufei fell asleep on the couch.  Woke up in an
akward position and ended up having sex with each other.  Then, you continued on with the mission, pulled a reckless stunt that
pissed him off and he somehow ended up saying that you had to marry him and you refused, go knows why.  Now your
miserable and Wufei's miserable.  The damnable man actually called me Noin for once!"
 "Wufei's miserable?"
"You wouldn't know would you?  You two have been doing so much to avoid one another.  I take it Wufei hasn't been
informed of his upcoming fatherhood?"
 "Well, no..." Sally responded sheepishly.
"Smooth move.  You, my friend, have a lot of problems to sort out," Noin said.
"I know, dammit Noin!  I don't want Wufei to marry me because I'm pregnant, I want him to marry me because he
loves me!  What's so wrong with that?  I'm just as human as anyone else and I want to be loved," Sally told her friend.  Tears
started running down her cheeks.  "Dammit.  I never cry."
Noin chuckled as she handed Sally a tissue.  "Thats the baby making ya feel like that.  It's all those extra hormones you
told me about."
"Yeah, I know, I know," Sally sighed.  "Well I'm going to take a nap.  I'll see you later Noin."
Noin said her good-byes and left.  Afterwards, Sally went to her bedroom and laid down on her bed.  She was almost
two months pregnant now but no one could really tell.  Her breast were fuller. she had to get some new bras soon.  Her
stomach felt harder, slightly rounded perhaps.  Slowly she placed a hand over her stomach, smoothing the fluttery feeling in her
belly.  She fell asleep just like that.

"I feel absolutely terrible for Sally," Noin voiced her concern to Wufei.  "She's been looking so green in the face lately.
Yesterday during a meeting she left bgecause she felt sick and almost didn't make it to the ladies room."
Wufei contemplated what Noin was saying.  Sally was sick.  He wanted to see her, but she had hurt his pride.  She
didn't want to marry him.  She didn't care about what they had shared, she didn't love him.
"Did you know that Sally asked Une for a transfer yesterday?"
"Nani!  What nonsense is this?  She's my partner!  I'm going to have a talk with her.  This has gone far enough."
Wufei stormed off before seeing the mischevious glint in Noin's eyues along with the slight twist in her smile.

"Woman, I want to know why the hell you requested a transfer.  We are going to talk about this right now!"  Wufei said
loudly as he stormed into Sally's apartment, slammign the door behind him.
It looked as if no one was there but that was impossible because he had looked for her every where else already.  He
heard a noise in the bathroom and headed in that direction only to open the door to see Sally kneeling over the toilet wearing
nothing but an old t-shirt and cut off sweat shorts and throwing up.
"Oh my god!  You really are sick!  Do you ever stop working?"  Wufei ran over to Sally and knelt down beside her.
"I'm fine, just a case of mot-er-just a case of the flu.  No big deal.  I'm feeling alot better."
Wufei picked Sally up as he saw her satnd up and reach for something to hold on to.  Carrying her he walked to the
bedroomand then laid her down on the bed.  Pulling up the covers he picked a book out of the way and tucked her in then
turned to the bed stand and turned off the light.  Bringing the book over to the book shelf in order to put it away he read the
title.
A cold, angry look washed over her face as it all became clear.  "You Pregnant."
Before Sally could respond, Wufei left the room leaving the "Guide To Motherhood" on the floor.

Wufei learned that he had a heart or at least a few peices becuase it had just shattered.  He halted half way down the
hall.
Noin said she had asked for a transfer.  Sally hadn't planned on telling him.
He turned around and stormed back into her apartment and back into her room.
"How could you Sally?" he yelled at her.  "I told you this could happen.  I asked you to marry me!"
Sally began to cry.  "I was going to tell you but I knew you would do this.  I refuse to marry you because I'm pregnant!"
"Dammit woman!  I LOVE YOU!  I want our child!  I want you!  Why are you always so stubborn?"
Sally got quiet.  "You love me?"
"Yeah I do," Wufei's voice softened.  "Your very important to me, your my partner, my love...my soul mate."
"Gods!  I love you too!"  Sally cried throwing herself at Wufei.  He cuddled her in his embrace and stroked and kissed
her blond locks.
Tilting her chin, Wufei kissed her.  Soon their clothing was removed with the familiarity of long time lovers.  Stroking
each other and kissing each other they started a raging strom.  When Wufei finally entered her, he did so slowly.  Taking his
time till he couldn't stand it any longer and quickened the pace.  Their echoing cries shattered the quiet of the room.
Pulling him self from inside her he rolled over and pulled Sally with him then settled her head against his shoulder to
sleep.

"I'm going to shoot that alarm clcok," Wufei mumbled grouchily as he reached over and slammed off the alarm, careful
not to wake Sally up.  She looked so peaceful when she was sleeping.  When she was awake she was loud and obnoxious and
spirited and everything else he loved about her.  She was so different from everything he had grown up expecting from women.
Growing up, he had been taught that women should be barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen.  She had the pregnant part down
but she only went barefoot off duty and she'd probably burn down the kitchen before she was able to produce anything edible.
She was as talented, perhaps more so, as most men.
Careful not to disturb her, he slipped from the bed and pulled on his boxers then walked to the window.    About an
hour till sunset...they had fallen asleep around six, it was almost 9 pm now.  He should probably make her dinner.  She needed
the food.  Right now he just wanted to think.  He had a feeling that she wouldn't be waking any time soon.  He thought back on
the war.  So much had been lost, friends, family, souls.  His included.  People had become lost to the fighting living only the war
and yet it seemed that every moment spent with Sally was was finding peices of him that he had thought lost forever.  It was if
through her he was peicing himself back together.  It was a nice feeling, it was almost overwhelming.  He was getting a family all
at once.  A family, he thought with a lopsided grin.
It had a nice ring to it.

Sally reached for Wufei and opened her eyes when she found the spot beside her empty.  For a moment she started to
panic thinking he had left.  Then she smelled the bacon.
 Bacon?
Sally checked the alarm clock.  It was 9:30 pm.  She had set her alarm for 8:45 so that she would eat.  Wufei
obviously shut it off, and now he was cooking.
Since when did he know how to cook?
Getting up and putting on her silk bathrobe, Sally walked to her kitchen to see Wufei standing at the stove cooking.
"I should have known," Sally said, letting Wufei know that she was there.
 "Known what?"
 "That you could cook."
"Of course I can cook.  I'm no weak man.  We had to learn to survive, that involves cooking," he pointed out.
"Not always.  I survived yet I could still burn water."
"Your just not good at cooking.  I found I had a flair for it."
"Good, that will save us money since now we won't have to eat out for the rest of our lives," Sally joked.
Wufei chuckled as he took the pan of the burner and put it on the table.  Wiping his hands on a towel,  he came up
behind Sally and wiped his arms arounmd her middle, nuzzling her neck.
"You smell like strawberries.  Does everything you like have to be red?" he teased.
"You smell like bacon.  We're having breakfast at 9:30 at night.  What will we do after?  Go to bed?"
"How dull," he said with a teasing frown.
Sally smirked.  "I said nothing about sleeping."

"You know Wufei, we're getting so much all at one time," Sally pointed out later on when she was once again able to
talk.
"I know, don't know you love it," he said, kssing her hair.
"We're gaining  back all we lost because of the war.   I lost my family and now I have a new one.  It's nice.." Sally
murmered, slowly lulling off to sleep in Wufei's warm embrace.
 "Aishiteru, Sally."
 Sally just settled in closer.

Part 4-Epilogue

He was talking to he baby again.  It made Sally want burst with happiness everytime she woke up in the middle of the
night to see Wufei's head on her swollen stomach talking about his day and how much he loved her and her mommy.  Sally
thought it was so funny how Wufei would proclaim that his daughter could beat any boy, that she was going to be anything she
wanted when she was older, that she was perfect.  It wasn't that his opinion of women had changed, just the two women in his
life were different, or at least that's what he thought.  Sally chuckled at the thought letting wufei know she was awake.
"Sneaky woman, why didn't you tell me you were awake?" he asked, sitting up and pulling her closer.
"Because I love listening to your voice when you talk to our daughter," Sally said.
"Our little Mia, she'll be the most perfect child in the world," Wufei said proudly.
Wufei fell asleep but even warm in her embrace she couldn't sleep.  It's funny, she thought, life's like lost and found.
You lose so much and then one day you find your place in life and relize you have so much to gain.
 Lost and found.
 Who would have thought?
