Since its inception, the Boy Scouts of America has had fully participating members with disabilities. In fact, Dr. James West, the first Chief Scout Executive, lived with a disability. The Wunita District is very proud of the special initiatives and services we deliver to our community. Currently Wunita serves over 3000 youth and adults in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Area. If you are interested in learning more about our services or wish to volunteer, please contact our District Committee Chairman Julia Sain. |

It is the mission of the Wunita District to foster a full Scouting experience

On May 6th Troop 61 went out to Belk Scout Camp and 18 scouts completed the requirements for their Tenderfoot Rank. Great Job guys! |
