One thing to note before you begin viewing - your computer needs to
have multimedia software installed in order to view the following video files. The
latest version of Windows Media Player (available free from Microsoft by
clicking the link to the left) works
very well. Other video programs may also work. Each segment is
produced in a (slow) and (fast) process. Faster connections
will get
better results by using the (fast) link. If you have a slower
connection, you may consider downloading the (fast) file and playing it back
from your own hard drive. You should be able to do this by right
clicking the link and select "save as."
Also understand that most of this film is 60+ years old.
The transfer to video tape went well, but a great amount of clarity is lost in
converting the video tape to a file format small enough for you to view
online.
