Vehicle Extrication Drill Station #1 April 29, 2004

Cadet Mokrycki and Lt. Ruppar begin to pry open the front passenger door using the Hurst spreaders.

Eng. Rollins Sr. helps Cadets Staron and Wielaba take the passenger door off using the Hurst Spreaders.

Lt. Ruppar uses an axe to cut away the windshield in order to prepare to roll the roof.

Capt. Lawton and Lt. Ruppar use the Irons (axe & haligan) to break the lock on the trunk in order to gain entry.

After the roof posts were cut, Cadets lift the roof and roll it backwards which provides them with more room to work in the car.
