Don A. Fenton
Don A. Fenton, 52, of Williamstown died Feb. 3, 2003, at
Charleston Area Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 11, 1951, in Marietta, son of Wilmer Craig and Elinor Pryor
Fenton. He graduated from Williamstown High School Class of 1969 and from
Muskingum College Class of 1973. He was past president of Williamstown
Elementary School PTA, a member of the West Virginia Tourist Commission, the
Foundation Board of Marietta Memorial Hospital and past finance chairman of
First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Farley Fenton of
Williamstown; two daughters, Greer Fenton of McLean, Va., and Brice Fenton of
Williamstown; one son, Craig Fenton of Williamstown; one brother, Randy Fenton
and his wife Debbie of Williamstown; two sisters, Christine Fenton of
Williamstown, and Shelly Ash and her husband Danny of Vienna; and Greer's
mother, Autumn Moore and her husband Tim of Parkersburg.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilmer C. "Bill" Fenton on
Dec. 11, 2002; his mother, Elinor Pryor Fenton on Feb. 13, 2002; and a
three-year-old brother, W. Craig Fenton Jr.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church,
Williamstown, the Rev. Joseph Shreve and Steve Gedon officiating. The family
will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Reno Chapel of
Hadley Funeral Home.
