Angalo
Angalo was a boston terrier mix that was pulled from the shelter when he
was 10 months old. He lived with his foster parents for about 4 -5 months before he got
adopted and the whole time he was there he did wonderfull, he played good with the other
dogs and never bothered the cats, on top of being very loving with his foster parents.
It turned out that after being adopted he starting biting unexpectantly, and was returned
to rescue..After this happened a few times I knew I could not help him with out knowing
what happened to him in the past and was faced with a horrible decision..
This was the hardest thing I ever had to do but decided that I could not take the chance
of him hurting a child, so I took him to cross over to the bridge, crying all the way..
Walking down the hall to the back room I could see he was frighten as he kept looking up
at me. Everyone there talked to him and petted him to make him more at ease, I hated lieing
to him like that (telling him it was ok)
After giving him the shot I stayed with him so he would not be affraid As I stood there
talking to him I could see tears rolling down his checks and I wipe them away and said I
was sorry, he reached up and licked me on the face as if to say he was sorry and wouldn't
do it any more...he then laid down on my arm as I held him while he crossed over.
Angalo, please understand I did what was best, and please forgive me. I hope you do have the green feilds that everyone talks about to run in and enjoy the warmth of our loving father where you will no longer be affraid, hungry, or sick. Until the day we meet again be well and happy..
Love Always,
Barb.
