To Clyde, an eager and very loving 8 week old pointer mix.

Clyde, what a blessing it was, getting to know your sweet face. You came to us at 8 weeks old from a very frightening shelter, a shelter full of homeless animals and death. You traveled with your sister Bonnie and both of you took to freedom with joyful abandon.......then Bonnie got sick.
Bonnie had a mild case of parvo. On the day she was coming home from the hospital, you began showing symptoms, the symptoms we hate to see in little puppies who haven't had enough time with us to get their second shots. But Bonnie got better so we had hope.
You were so young and so full of happiness, and we had the best home for you to go into...........
The day that Bonnie went to her new home, you lost your battle. You were just to young.
All of us pray that someday soon we will be able to help our rescue babies who fall ill to recover.
Until then we will take our chances. All of you are worth saving, and we
in rescue will keep putting our hearts on the line.
