I'm currently looking for other bus drivers from my county and others who are interested in forming our own statewide organization appart from the other organizations that you may or may not be a part of as a service employee.
I've discovered in the past, as well you may have, that these other oranizations do not have the interests of school bus drivers in mind.
If you are interested in this, please contact me and also tell the other drivers you work with about this sight.
Safely transporting our children to and from school and school functions is just as important as teaching them. If we can organize like the teachers have, we can become a strong voice that Charleston will have to listen to. This will improve conditions for our fellow drivers and the children that we transport.
