West Virginia Association of the Deaf
The West Virginia Association of the Deaf (WVAD) was organized in 1915. It was established and incorporated in 1930 and is one of the 51 affilicated state associations. WVAD recognizes ten chapters within the state and is govern by an Executive Board of Directors, who serve on a voluntary basis. Membership includes deaf, hard of hearing, and professionals who work with the deaf and hard of hearing and other interested individuals.

The mission of the West Virginia Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WVCDHH) is to advocate for, develop, and coordinate public policies, regulations, and programs to asure full and equal opporunity for persons who are deaf and hard of hearing in West Virginia.

West Virginia School for the Deaf

Welcome to the West Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind. Our school, its students and staff are very proud of the campus and academic programs offered here. The school has a rich history dating back to 1870, and spans the new millennium with the latest in current educational practice and theory. West Virginia Deaf Clubs
Fairmont Association of the Deaf and Sports
Fairmont Association of the Deaf is established July 1997. We meet on 2nd of Saturday every month at Winfield Community Center, Fairmont, WV. Sometimes FAD meets on 3rd Saturday. Please check the flyer to be sure when the club will be opened.

Romney Association of the Deaf
We meet 2nd of Saturday every month at Senior Citizen Building, Romney, WV. Sometimes RAD open on 3rd Satuday. Please check the flyer and website to be sure when the club will be opened.

West Virginia Deaf Bowling Association and West Virginia Deaf Women Bowling Association

Bowling tournament holds in March every year. The next tournament will be at Cumberland, MD in 2006, Richmond VA in 2007, and Lewisburg, WV in 2008.
