TOURNAMENT RULES

ELIGIBILITY:
Competition in this tournament is limited to the deaf. All children over the age of 18 who graduate from high school (deaf bowler) are eligible to bowl. All entrants must be 2007-2008 member of the USBC services by paying an affiliate membership fee of $19.00 for USBC. Failure to make a copy or bring your USBC card- a 210 average may be assigned. Rules 303 will also be effect.

AVERAGE: Use highest USBC sanctioned book as final from 2006-2007 season. When the previous season's average is used, and at the time of bowling an entrant has a current average for 21 or more games that is 10 pins or more higher than the prior season's average, the current average must be used.

TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT:
Shall have the authority to re-rate any entrant prior to bowling tournament winning of $500.00 or more in previous 12 months must report for possible re-rating. Re-rating will be five (5) points.

BOWLER'S RESPONSIBILITY: It shall be each bowler's responsibility of verifies the accurancy of his or her average. Failure to use the proper average or make correction prior to bowl shall disqualify score if submitted average is lower than actual average. If a score disqualified, entry shall forfeit the prize winnings and entry fees. Prize winning shall be based on the submitted average if it is higher than the actual average.

MULTIPLE PARTICIPATION:
Re-entries will be accepted, but in a case shall the same individual not permitted to place more than once in the prize list for positing stands.

LANE ASSIGNMENTS: Tournament manager will make lane assignment.

SQUAD TIME CHANGE:
Bowlers must notify Tournament Manager if a change in squad time at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to start of next squad.

ENTRY DEADLINE:
Fifteen (15) minutes prior to start of the last squad (October 6, 2007.)

P.B.A./L.P.B.A: Members are not permitted to bowl in this tournament. We will accept the bowlers under 210 average.

PRIZES: The winning prizes will be give at Romney Fire Hall at 9:00 p.m. Mail the winning prizes will be fourteen (14) days.

Premature termination of the tournament brought about war, national emergency or emergency cause relating thereto or wherefrom, fire, natural disaster or any other reason beyond the control of the WVSDAA's 29th Annual John Popovich shall cause, to extend required thereby, all advertised prizes, guaranteed of otherwise, to be prohibited in accordance with the number of entrants who have bowled in each of the respective events up to the time of such termination.

From East Rt. 50: Going to Rt. 50 West, turn right on US 220 and stay on US 220, turn left onto Southern Drive, turn left onto Cornell Street.

From Morgantown, WV: Going to I 68 East, turn right on Vocke Road Exit 40 toward US 220, turn left onto MD 53 South, Turn right onto US 220 crossing West Virginia, turn right onto Southern Drive, turn left onto Cornell Street.

From Frederick, MD: Going to I 70 West, merge on I 68 West, take exit 42- US 220, turn left onto US 220 Crossing West Virginia, turn right onto Southern Drive, turn left onto Cornell Street.

From WVSD: Go on Rt. 50 West, pass SHEETZ gas station, turn left to the intersection, turn right, 1st block left, turn left.

From Keyser, WV: Go on US 220, turn left onto Rt. 50 arrive 1st traffic light, turn right to the intersection, turn left 1st block, turn right.
