Discussion: 

·         County /SWMF Update: Meeting on Feb 21 w/ DPW regarding reconstruction of Logan SWF

The county will modify and repair the SWF on Logan Lane. The mod/repairs will consist of converting ‘Logan Pond’ to its intended final configuration, which will allow the pond to drain and function as a “dry pond”.  In addition, the DPW will stabilize the surrounding grass areas, clean and clear the rip rap at outflow areas, repair the interior and exterior of manhole. An as-built drawing documenting the changes made will then be provided.

The DPW also stated that they would not perform any work or repairs to SWF #1 & #2. However, the BOD’s have decided to approach the county with a request to repair the other SWF’s to their intended configurations. The request will be based on the fact that there are still no as-built drawings for SWF #1; additionally, since the bonds were released in error (confirmed by the DPW) there is no proof that the SWF’s were in accordance with any standards.

 

·         Water Updates:

Homeowners Michael & Shelley Rust has offered assistance regarding the water. Shelley suggests initializing a comprehensive plan for WW to accept water regardless of the source. 

 

Looking for information regarding Grant $$ to help WW.

 If anyone can help or has information please let us know.

 

FYI- Meeting with Mike Vaughan is scheduled for March 22.  Contact has been made with the Town of NE.
