Discussion: ·
County /SWMF Updates: 1.
Logan work to begin June 2007 2.
Apex estimates received: Cost to repair SWF 1& 2 will be $26,000 3.
No turn-over documents found in Land Records 4.
WWHOA with Lambdin address listed on the property
records. The HOA has motioned and voted
unanimously to seek legal council about the condition and transfer of the
Stormwater Facilities, ultimately resulting in proper turnover of SWF’s in
satisfactory working condition. ·
Water Updates: Talked
to Artesian Co. Things are still being worked out to even get us to an
initial phase. A few things he mentioned, Artesian has taken over Mountain
Hill Water Co (Stewart Assoc’s water company). He said he will be meeting
Mike Vaughan again within 2 weeks to work on sorting things out more. He did
say he feels confident he will be able to help us, but it will all be
determined by cost and the # of interested houses in the community. He also
mentioned that we have been included on numerous times in talks with various
officials from the state and county to try to figure out how to make
something work for us. Like I said, all in all, while things might not be
moving at a pace we’d like and while we might not be hearing about all that’s
going on, things are going on. I did bring up the prospects of Federal grant
$$. He said he talked to his contact at the USDA (I think) and they explained
that the grant is not triggered by a community or an individual with a
problem, but by county or state officials. He mentioned that he talks to Dave
Rudolph regularly about us and helping us get grant $$. If
anyone can help or has information about Grant $$ please let us know. |
