WWE Sunday Night Heat Report
June 22, 2003

Highlights of the first Raw-only PPV, Bad Blood, which took place this past Sunday, were shown to get Heat underway.

VAL VENIS def. ROSEY
Special Guest Referee - JACQUELINE:
Val was looking to add a little new talent to his Venis Video Produstions company so he took to the ring and told Jackie that he thought she'd make a great addition to his company! However, before Jacki could give him an answer, Rosey came to the ring and as the match got going, Rosey used his size to his advantage.

Val fought back out of the corner but a belly-to-back suplex was ill-advised and Rosey flattened the Big Valbowski with a clothesline. Rosey then further punished Val on the canvas with a massive twisting legdrop but as Rosey tried for Snake Eyes, Val dropped behind and scored with a belly-to-back suplex. A pair of clotheslines and a dropkick by Val staggered the big man and a crossbody finally dropped the big man, allowing Val to pick up a nearfall. Val then countered a suplex with a neckbreaker to set up the Money Shot, giving Val the victory! After the match, Val shook Jackie's hand before looking for a lovely lady to be the recipient of his towel!

Coach and Al plugged the featured bouts of the evening as Stevie Richards will take on Goldust and Trish Stratus will meet Molly!

THE HURRICANE def. MICHAEL SHANE:
Hurricane showed off an upgrade in his Hurri-Wardrobe as he came to the ring sporting a new leather cape but he was all business as he cinched in an armwringer and a side headlock on Shane. Hurricane mowed down Shane with a shoulderblock before snapping the newcomer to the cavas but Shane rolled through and clamped on a hammerlock but Hurricane reasserted himself with a headscissor.

Hurricane went right back to the side headlock after a drop toehold but Shane countered a headsiccor by shoving Hurricane to the apron then Shane dropped Hurricane with a hard right hand. Hurricane tried to fire back but Shane caught Hurricane with a stun gun as the superhero came off of the ropes and Shane then applied a neckvice. Hurricane broke free and although he saw his backslide countered, Hurricane scored with a unique neckbreaker then a series of forearms set Shane up for a neckbreaker out of the corner.

Hurricane came from the rafters with a pictureque crossbody out of the corner but Shane countered the Eye of the Hurricane before trying for an F-5! However, Hurricane countered the efforts before dropping the plucky youngster with the Shining Wizard to pick up the victory, much to the delight of the capacity Dallas crowd!

STACKER 2 WWE REWIND: Despite an errant spear attempt by Goldberg at Bad Blood that saw the former WCW Champion barrel shoulder-first into the security barricade, the former Atlanta Falcon still found a way to defeat Chris Jericho!

Chris Jericho has been a thorn in the side of Goldberg for some time now and although Goldberg got the better of the Ayatollah of Rock 'N Rollah at Bad Blood, Jericho wasn't done with Da Man as he and Christian teamed up to take on Goldberg and Booker T this past week on Raw. The match was an intense affair but in the end, it was an Intercontinental Title shot to the face by Booker to Christian after Christian had brought the gold in the ring that allowed Booker and Goldberg to pick up the win!

DIVAS MATCH
MOLLY def. TRISH STRATUS:
This was an intense encounter pitting two former WWE Women's Champions against one another. Trish started with a takedown followed by a rollthrough to get a nearfall then the two ladies exchanged armwringers before Molly yanked Trish to the mat by the hair. Trish nipped up and returning the favor to Molly twice then a pair of chops and a hard clothesline by Trish sent Molly out to the arena floor.

Molly rebounded by hanging Trish out to dry across the top rope before further punishing Trish with a neckbreaker and choking her out across the second rope. Trish countered Molly's handspring elbow with a Victory Roll but Molly came right back with a hard clothesline to allow her to apply a reverse chinlock. Trish scored another nearfall with a rollup and although Molly yanked Trish to the mat by the hair once again, Trish responded with a short spinebuster to stop Molly in her tracks.

Trish began to fire up with punches and kicks then a swinging neckbreaker set up the Chick Kick, but all she got was a two-count. Trish proceeded to rattle Molly's ribs in the corner with a series of kicks before setting her on the top rope and trying for the StratusFear but Molly shoved Trish off and then flattened Trish with the Molly-Go-Round, enabling her to pick up the hard-fought win!

Victoria was in the back with Stevie Richards getting a little excited as Stevie promised to take Heat to an all new level starting tonight. Goldust wasn't impressed with Stevie's boasts and he came by and told him to calm Victoria down, maybe even give her a little lovin' before the Bizarre One took his leave!

Kane and RVD took immediate advantage of their rematch clause as they challenged La Resistance for the World Tag Team Titles this past Monday night on Raw but Kane laid it out to Van Dam, saying if they didn't recapture the gold tonight, then they were through as a team! Van Dam and Kane gave the champions everything that they could handle and then some but finally, an irate Kane smashed a chair over the head of Dupree, causing the DQ! After the match, Triple H came to the ring and told Kane that he was glad to see the monster back in full effect and he offered Kane a spot in Evolution but Stone Cold took to the ring and told Kane that he could either join up with Triple H or he could face The Game next week in MSG with the World Title on the line! Eric Bischoff then hit the stage and told Kane that if he accepted Austin's offer, then he had to win or else he would be forced to unmask in front of the whole world! Kane grabbed both Austin and Triple H by the throat before releasing Hunter, but as Triple H gloated over Kane apparently electing to join Evolution, the Big Freakin' Machine released Austin and instead drove the World Champion into the canvas with a hellacious chokeslam!

Gail Kim will make her WWE debut soon!

GOLDUST def. STEVIE RICHARDS (w/VICTORIA):
Stevie got into Goldust's face, shoving the 24-Karat Marvel at the onset but Goldust dropped Stevie, sending Richards to the floor where Goldust met him with a flying clothesline. Goldust then countered a Monkey Flip attempt back in the ring with a slinghot-backbreaker combo that nearly snapped Stevie in half.

Stevie ducked a crossbody attempt by Goldust that sent the Bizarre One hydroplaning out of the ring to the floor where Victoria got a couple of shots in on Goldust. Stevie applied a neckvice on the mat but Goldust countered a bulldog by hurling Stevie to the mat. Goldust then.... well, I guess he kind of Hulked up as Stevie peppered him with right hands then after an Atomic Drop and a clothesline had Stevie reeling. Goldust then propped Stevie up in the corner and despite Victoria's pleas to the official, Goldust Shattered Stevie's Dreams by kicking him in the NETHERREGIONS!

Victoria came to her squeeze's aid as he set up for the Curtain Call and Goldust thanked Victoria for her concern by locking lips with her! Victoria stumbled back into the corner in shock but the diversion was all Stevie needed to roll Goldust up from behind and pick up the win! Goldust glared at the couple with contempt and Victoria and Stevie celebrated the triumph as Heat went off of the air with Coach and Al plugging the Triple H-Kane World Heavyweight Title Match tomorrow night on Raw!
