Preview: Hey Guys! This is my first news post here.. Anyway, it seems the article from the PSM mag hasn't been posted yet, atleast in text forum.. Well, here it is. Thanks to ryanr_6 for transcribing this article..

"Following a pair of real barnburners on PSone, THQ looks set to usher in a new era of awesomeness for wrestling game fans on PS2. And who better to book this main event than totally WWF-obsessed crew at Japanese developer Yuke's, which brought us the first two games? Rather than start over from scratch, Yuke's is polishing up its tried-and-true 32-bit engine for PS2 duty, so fans of the series should be able to pick up the game easier than Big Show can choke-slam Spike Dudley. Perhaps the biggest gameplay addition will be CPU-controlled referees, who, just like on television, will count 1-2-3 and admonish the grapplers for under handed antics. Current plans also include the ability to knock them down or distract them so that non-competitors can interfere in a match without action in Street Fight and No DQ matches. Also, thanks to the increased storage of the DVD format, the wrestling action will be accompanied by full play-by-play commentary(not just short quips) by Michael and Tazz. Graphically all of the game's textures, character models, and facial details have been beefed up significantly over PSone titles. the number and quality of wrestler animations has also increased. Even the most subtle touches, like the way each wrestler enters and exits the ring, or recovers from being knocked down, have been captured. Yuke's has also heard your cries and will include full entrances for every WWF superstar- Undertaker even rides his motorcycle to the ring! THQ is working up to the last minute to make sure the character roster is as current as possible when the game ships this October. Right now the list stands at about 35 wrestlers in total, and chances are good that newcomers like Tajiri and Rhyno will eventually make the cut. As for WCW wrestlers, however, the outlook isn't so good- but thanks to the game's great Create a wrestler mode making some good likenesses of your favorites shouldnt be a problem. Even at a mere 55% complete, the game's already looking and playing great- and Yuke's still has plenty of surprises up its sleeve for this sure-fire slobberknocker. We'll have more on these new details(along with the latest screens) next issue, wrestling fans! - Randy Nelson"

Not exactly new, but that's the article for those who haven't seen it yet.
