After high school I went to college for a year. That next summer I traveled most of Europe for about 4 months. After I came back I worked as a Pro Photographer doing weddings and shooting action paintball photos. A year of working on my own I moved to Moscow, ID to get a job in sales at Kits Cameras. In less than a year I was promoed to a Store Manager in Portland, OR. In less than 3 years I was managing the 3rd largest store in the company out of 1200 stores. In that time I had traveled to Hawaii, Florida, Maine, New York and most of the North West. About two years ago I left Kits Cameras and I went into Long Haul Trucking. I was burned out working retail. I trucked to all 48 states in a year. After that I moved back to Walla Walla for a few months to work a local route. Back in Jan 05' I moved to Ft Sill, OK to work for the US GOV in the Transportation Dept. I did that for about 6 months (the weather there was too crazy). After that I went to Egypt for a month to take some time off. When I got back a friend of mine told me of a opening at Camera World. So I moved back to Portland to get the job. So I am now back in retail but at least it's one of the highest paid camera jobs in the NW.
