Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Spearhead is one of my favorite first person shooters of all time without a doubt and it is a great expansion to an already awesome game, I am really amazed by this game and probably for the most part because I loved History and World War II was always my favorite to study. I bought this game about a month after it came out and I was not disappointed and its definitely my favorite shooter out of all my pc games and I am talking about games like Unreal Tournament 2003 and Quake 3, this game doesn’t seem to get as much attention as it deserves and that puzzles me for some reason, maybe because people are to addicted to non realistic games and that’s pretty cool, but me on the other hand I like a touch of realism and that makes it even more fun for me. The reason I compare this game to those above games is because I find myself spending more time playing this game then those ones, so obviously that’s telling you something, that this game is extremely fun and worth your 20-30 dollars.

GRAPHICS 9/10 They seemed to be improved a lot from the original Medal of Honor Allied Assault, but still seemed dated because they use the exact same graphics engine, but really the engine is still far sufficient and the graphics are sweet and the explosions and character designs are excellent. The heavy artillery is awesome and the beginning of the game took my breath away, I really enjoyed the graphics, they made an already awesome game into a piece of art and I really can’t see a single war game that has better graphics to this date and that includes Battlefield 1942. SOUND 10/10 Bang! Bam! Boom! This game has the best sound I ever heard in a first person shooter, it actually makes you feel like you are in World War II surrounded by Nazis. The sound in this game far excels most games without a doubt and that is saying a lot, the sounds of the explosions and gunshots are so realistic and the voice acting is pretty good, this games sound is amazing I bow before Electronic Arts and praise this games sound. STORY 10/10 This game has an excellent story and I say this because it takes place during actual World War II conflicts, granted your missions are made up, but it still keeps the realism and transforms you into a soldier and that’s all I am going to tell you about the story, but I will tell you this, your not the same character from the previous game. GAMEPLAY 10/10 Fun to the extreme and even more fun when you go online and play against people, but I warn you this game is not for the Quake players and that is because the weapons in this game are realistic, so expect to let off whole rounds and hit nothing but air and I will even admit that pisses me off, but still it makes it fun also because of the realism and I love that part of games, of course this game isn’t so realistic its not fun. The controls are easy to master and are mostly because this is a pc game; they are a lot easier then the console Medal of Honor games. OVERALL 10/10 I would recommend this game to anyone who likes first person shooters and I especially would recommend it to anyone who loves World War II games, this is a must buy for anyone in this above categories, in conclusion you wont find a better World War II based game and that’s saying a lot considering the many ones that are out there, I would say the only one that can even come close to this game would be Battlefield 1942 and even that one falls short compared to this games graphics and sound.
