After the show: Stef and I came out of the theatre 10 min after the end of the show and the first thing we saw was that the guys who seemed in a hurry were leaving in their van. To prepare myself for the shows, I had read all the reports that I could and usually it was written than the guys meet their fans after the shows and spend at least 20 min with them. So, we were kind of confuse and wondering why they were leaving. So we ran in the direction of the van and we arrive just before Jeff got in the van. So Stef asked him for a picture. Then, she asked him where they were going and he said that they where going for a ride around the block, and I said "Are you coming back?" and he answered "Yes". So we sat and waited for them. At 9:20, a guy who was either working for the theatre or the festival (we later find out that he's name is Craig) came to us and started talking to us. We told him that we were big fans of whose line. Then, he said that we shouldn't be waiting for them there, because they were supposed to appear in another show. He also said that the show they were suppose to be in was in the St-Denis Theatre. Then, he left us. At the beginning, we thought that he wanted to make fun of us and told us lies, because Jeff had told us that they were coming back. So, we continued waiting for them at the same place. At 9:35-9:40, we lost hope of seeing them, so we decided to go to the St-Denis Theatre to see what was happening since it was just a 10 min walk from the place we were.
We talked to someone who was working at the St-Denis theatre, but he had no idea if the improv all-stars guys were in there. The guests of these kind of show are kept secret until the last minute so even the people who work there have no idea who's coming. We insisted and the guy refered us to woman. The woman didn't know a thing neither, but again we insisted and she agreed to go and check. When she came back she told us that there were 7 people on stage and we knew it was them. So we asked her if there was a place where we could meet them after the show. After a few minutes of negociation she finally told us where they would be coming out. So, we went there... it was a little street behind the theatre, there was no fans waiting there, but there was a bunch of security guys. We recongnized their van and we decided to wait right besides it. Then, we met the driver of the van. We talk to him a little bit. We told him we are big fans of whose line and that someone had told us the guys were going to be at the St-Denis theatre so that's why we were there. The driver thought we were so funny. We also told him we were not crazy fans, but just good fans who wanted to meet their idols. We asked him if he could bring them to us so that we could talk for a few minutes and he wasn't sure if he could, but said that he would try. We also talked to a security guy, but I can't remember what we told him. After about 10 min of talking to both the driver and the security guy, the guys finally came out of the theater, but the driver told us he couldn't bring them to us. The guys left in their van and as they were passing us, the driver pointed us and started talking about us to the guys. We couldn't see the guys' reaction to what the driver was saying cause the windows of the van were tinted (is that the word for it?). Drew didn't left with the rest of the guys and came to see us!!! We talked a little bit and he signed us autographs. He didn't have a pen so I handed him my sharpie and he said "I don't have a sharpie, can I keep this one?" And I said "yes sure!". You can't say no to your idol! We also took a pic with him. Then, his girlfriend Danielle arrived. They kissed and we realized we shouldn't be there anymore, so we left. We started walking and we turned in a vacant street. After about 10 to 15 minutes, we saw... their van! It was parked in front of a hotel and a quick peek inside made us realize that the hotel was for the comedians of the Just For Laughs festival. The driver had told us that after the show they would go to their hotel and then to a restaurant. Stef and I decided that the best decision was for her to go home and for me to go to my hotel, because we didn't want to freak the guys out. If they had seen us for the third time in the same night, they would really think that we're crazy obsessed fans. And we really didn't want that to happen, so we left.
