OLD NEWS!!
June 5, 2007
First website update in nearly three years is under way. Your fabulous, newly-elected Web Tsar is already doing a knock-up job! Pagans and Students Together is celebrating its third year as a Western Washington University student club, outliving the average life expectancy of student clubs by a year. Yeahh! This year the club received a nomination for best religious club of the year, and we have been doing much to get our membership up and our presence on campus known. We have recently undergone a change in club leadership. The ceremonial dry-erase marker has been passed from our previous club president Riley Sweeney to Xandra Lauch. Mr. Sweeney has been a dynamic force driving our club since its inception and we will miss his unique leadership style. However, we all have great confidence that Xandra will lead P.A.S.T. with her wisdom, her patience, and her humor.

Holy Crap! We're a club! A religious club! Your fearless leaders did a song and dance routine and convinced a bunch of Conservative Republicans that Paganism is a viable religion. Go team! The drawback: We got no funding. Ever. We are completely on our own. But I could use the challenge. Let's rise to the occation. We are treading completely new ground here. We're making a difference in the community. We are just that cool.

Your Fearless Leaders spent all day at the Clubs Fair. We offered free tarot readings and info about Paganism in general, and what our club is about. We found a few other Pagans in the general community, and connected with other clubs we thought we could work with. Making connections rules! We made some very good progress here.

First ever P.A.S.T. Full Moon ritual. Very nice turn out even with the competition of Luna Club. Jamie was High Priestess, with Emlyn helping her. We Drew Down the Moon and charged candles for magickal purposes. See the ritual here. Blessed Be.

First Ever Meeting is today. I only hope people will come. We have lots to talk about. Will keep you posted!
Out of date out rage!
(or: Things that once pissed us off)
In Puyallup, Washington, they banned Halloween at school...and blamed in on the Pagan Community! Read this article.
And this one after it. As it's in my hometown, I was planning on attending the school board meeting to give the Witches point of view. But instead I wrote a really mean letter. Check out the video, too. Some of my friends are in it!
