Back from Japan two months ago, and I 'remixed' songs by Dying Fetus and Discordance Axis. Nab 'em in the audio section.
WxrtHltl-jwlpklz touring Japan!
Okay, so that's not the whole truth. I am in Japan, but not as WxrtHltl-jwlpklz. Me being here means that no WxrtHltl-jwlpklz will be recorded in the next four months or so, at least. Like anyone's gonna miss it...
Wow, doing this update didn't kill anywhere near as much time as I'd hoped it might.
Unholy shit on a stick, it's an UPDATE! Woahhhhh dude, gnarly. Erm, about 9 months ago now(!) a split tape with Brutal Bukkake Blast was released on Monumental Deathfuck Productions, although I did zero promotion for it. Copies are available, see the contact page here or at MDP for details on how to get a copy. Fuck knows what's happening with the Flaccid Decapitator split demo, I still haven't had the material for the Flaccid Decapitator side yet. I'm not even sure whether I still have the WxrtHltl-jwlpklz material for it or not. Apart from that, WxrtHltl-jwlpklz is currently comatose. I don't have access the equipment I used to record any more. I did compose a new track a couple of months ago using Music 2000 on the PlayStation, but don't have a way of getting this track to CD-R or tape right now, besides which I prefer the old recording method of basically fucking around with a microphone then manipulating the results. If I can get the material out of Flaccid Decapitator and if the WxrtHltl-jwlpklz material still actually exists, I'll release that split demo, but after that there'll be no new WxrtHltl-jwlpklz releases for a fair while.
Boredom has compelled me to have a bash at doing a tape label. This new project of mine, Monumental Deathfuck Productions, will release WxrtHltl-jwlpklz some time in the not-too-distant future. This may be either a solo release, or a split tape with up to as many as three other bands. Watch this space...!
The WxrtHltl-jwlpklz split demo with the now-named Flaccid Decapitator has had to be put on hold once more, due to illness preventing Flaccid Decapitator's material being posted to me. I now don't have access to the necessary facilities again until December, so with any luck the split will surface then. It'll still be 20 copies in the original pressing, but I'm going to do a few promo copies as well to send to underground labels and/or 'zines. The tracklisting for the WxrtHltl-jwlpklz part of the split has also been confirmed, but I'm afraid I didn't bring a copy of the tracklisting with me, so this too is inaccessible for me until December. The cover to the WxrtHltl-jwlpklz 'side' is also done, and again, it's not with me until December. I've still to design the sleeve's tracklisting, but that won't be anything fancy anyway.
In other - and somewhat bizarre - news, I'm told that WxrtHltl-jwlpklz has received some degree of promotion from a local alternative club. It seems the track 'And All Shall Praise Nihilism As The Only Way Forward For Mankind', found on the compilation 'Revolution, Not Evolution Vol. 1', was played between tracks by Slayer and Refused... Good company to be in, as far as I'm concerned... I just hope it was old-school Slayer!
Major site restructuring starts here... I'm doing the entire site again, in HTML. Awesome.
This has forced one change - I'm dispensing with the old news pages, as there's too much pointless bollocks on them. All the important stuff will be on the biography anyway, so it's no loss. But, I'll give a brief summation of the current state of WxrtHltl-jwlpklz...
WxrtHltl-jwlpklz currently has copies left of the first pressing on the demo album, 'Evil Noise Shit (From The Depths Of Insanity)'.
Click here for details on how to obtain a copy.
WxrtHltl-jwlpklz also has two tracks on the CD-R compilation 'Revolution, Not Evolution Vol. 1'.
Copies of the compilation are available from WxrtHltl-jwlpklz - click here for details on how to obtain a copy.
WxrtHltl-jwlpklz is currently planning a split demo with an as yet unnamed noise project based near Middlesbrough, UK. The original pressing will be of 20 copies, 10 to be distributed by each artist. WxrtHltl-jwlpklz will donate around 10-15 minutes of material recorded before that found on the demo album.
That's about it for the moment... now, back to all this restructuring...
